The new events for the second half of season 2 in modern warfare 3
We'll also have new events coming throughout the season where they are detailed from mid-season to the end of the season, which is cool. You have the Dune Rule of Fate event from March 6th to the 13th, with the ultimate reward being a camo.
The Warhammer 40K for the Emperor event lasts from March 13th to the 27th. 2 weeks on that, so probably 2 weeks then on Jugger MOS as well, where the ultimate reward is a blueprint and the vortex decay's realm event starts on the 27th and goes until the third, which is the end of season, the ultimate reward is going to be a camo.

For that, so that's your multiplayer stuff here at this, but jumping over to the zombie side of things, you finally get a little bit of content, but it's still not a whole ton. You have a new story mission in the dark ether, and it kind of looks like it will take the place of Almaz's city points of interest and use those for the dark ether.
In that sense, you'll have the new warlord of carries hold up in the Orav military-based killhouse sector of the map, and then you'll have new schematics of the blood burner key mags of holding and the vr11. Wonder Weapon that's your that's your zombies update not a whole ton still, but you finally get something because it's still hilarious to think that this entire season was basically all zombie-themed, but from the very beginning, there was not a single bit of zombie content for zombie players.

So finally, we're getting something , but still not a whole ton, and then finally, on the war zone side of things, here you have the new mobile point of interest, the research vessel, which will come along with a handful of different things. Number one is decontamination. Station built in, so if it's going around the map and the zone is closing in, you'll be safe in there even if the zone is past that point of where the research vessel is now.
I could be wrong on this one here, but I'm stretching the memory just a bit. I'm pretty sure during the preseason 2 sort of media and Creator call, we ended up learning that this isn't going to last forever; it's only a couple of zones into the match that this will be the case, so it's not like you're going to be able to just sit on the point of interest and get down to the final circle where you're still safe out there but everybody else is dying to gas.
That's not going to be the case, but it is something to consider. This also has a UAV tower where you can purchase unique and exclusive items from its special bus station. There's a helicopter there that you can use as a static spawn, and it states there's a redacted area to unlock loot fields. So, we'll see what that part means, but a new point of interest is coming to Fortune's Keep.
We'll also see the bunker buster killstreak, which is basically a mortar shell that's called in like an air strike, where wherever it hits it first makes that impact, but then it'll send a gas grenade effect up that sort of whole location of where it punched through. I'm not sure how I feel about that one just yet, but that'll be coming with a mid-season update.
And then finally, decontamination, station that PDS from war zone 1, it is, finally back after being said that it would return to war zone in, like. I think season 3 of last year with Modern Warfare 2, it just never came no season 3 no season 3 overloaded no season 4 no season 4 overloaded you get the point it just never came so we're finally going to be seeing this in the air quote new generation of War Zone which is definitely nice looking forward to making some nice gas plays with that it was incredibly helpful back in war zone 1 so looking forward to it.
Final notes on season 2 reloaded in modern warfare 3
So when you look at the overall sort of content coming, not a whole ton of content across any sort of mode really, but a mid-season update, in that regard, it's not a huge seasonal update to launch a new season but something to keep you coming back here and give you something new to play with, so a little bit of everything sprinkled across multiplayer, zombies, and War Zone, but that's the update that you should know about and everything that we know so far now.
One thing that you should also expect, though this is kind of extracurricular. Not something that was mentioned in the blog post or anything detailing the reveal of it, but just know that you should probably expect bugs. Every single update for Call of Duty, no matter what, is always going to have some sort of unintended consequence.
In the update, if you want a seamless experience, jumping in right at launch might not be your best bet and might cause more grief. Hopefully this one doesn't have too many problems, like I'm hoping this isn't a truly gamebreaking update, as we've seen a couple of times already in the last year or so, like some seasonal updates have absolutely gone way more smoothly than others.
There's just never a perfect update, so just know that going into it may. Holding off a day or two might not be the worst idea if you want a perfect experience.
