News - Cod Warzone 2 Zombies, Going Into The Elder Aether, Solo Guide

When you make your way to the ACV, you'll find Mega waiting for you there. This one is always in this location, and sometimes a roaming one joins to run up to the ACV and place a sentry gun on it before activating the machine. You need to deal with this mega before you get moving, and sentries are extremely effective at that.

Once you make it to the first roof to clear, wait for the sound indication for the mass zombie spawn. Drop a Kazmir a bit away from the ACV, keep spamming your ether blades nonstop, and use your energy mines whenever they become available. Zombies will keep coming from all sides, so the more of them you trim, the easier it is to get through.

As the ACV starts moving, briefly switch to your VR11 and shoot it from the front. One shot is enough, even though health doesn't immediately jump back to 100%. It takes some time if the ACV is badly damaged; a second shot may be required. Repeat the same at the second stop. Kazmir as soon as the M spawn happens, and keep dancing around the damn thing until it's ready to go again.

You can see in my run that there's a dead bull turret at every stall. This would be gut sand if I had any circuits or any space for them in the backpack. However, those also spawn at random, so if you come in relying on turrets to be there, well, they likely won't, but if you are in a squad, having a couple of circuits with you is definitely a good idea.

The last stop is where zombies go absolutely nuts with their attacks and ease the most dangerous point in the whole contract. They're going to come in numbers with manglers, disciples, mimics, mandatory Mega, and all that Kazmir energy mining. Fixing your ACV with VR11 will all come in handy. Here, eventually, though the ACV does its thing, the rocket takes off and the blast clears most of the zombies away, and you should be able to pick up your ether blade schematic, and you also get a geod blueprint for MCW for completing all three contracts in one run, but as you can see on the screen, even doing everything right is not always enough.

Somehow, the blast pushed me way deep into the ground, so there's no way I can reach the rift. This is an extreme bug, but that doesn't make it any less infuriating. That's not the only problem you can face. Sometimes your dog just keeps dying for no reason early on, and you just can't bring enough self-revives to get you through.

Sometimes two megas at once decide to visit you during the Outlast contract, and all kinds of random crap happens, making your run harder or impossible. I know that because each of those things happened to me before, so I'll say it again. Team up for The Younger Ether Come Here Solo if you need a challenge, but later on, you no longer need the schematics.

I really hope this was helpful to someone.
