News - All Warzone 2 Season 2 Battlepass Rewards, Tier 100 Rick & Blackcell Gameplay (new Operator Skins & More)
Full battlepass map & all sectors
Now an image of the full battle pass map in all sectors was also posted in the recent blog post earlier today, and obviously creators that got flown out got to also see this in their menu, so I'll be breaking down every single sector, reward by reward, on stream this Wednesday as I usually do, but as you can see from the map itself, you can see zombie consumables, like ammo mod Acquisitions.
And I think even though there's going to be some other tools—some pack-a-punch crystals that we can guess—you could see some various blueprints. There are really cool-looking operator skins, and we also have some vehicle skins and some blueprint coding points, and you could see your instant rewards again.
On the right, you can see your black cell offering towards the top, and you could, of course, choose where you want to start, or if you want to start pathing your way through, you could either start at, you know. Tier 1. Or from the top with the black cell, you can see the top right, you have your tier 100 rewards, and you can see the sector that's in progress.
Right there's a charm there, a weapon XP token zombie consumable, and a pretty cool zombify-looking blueprint there for the hvt of that sector, but overall it is a zombify theme season, which I know is ironic considering zombies aren't getting any content at launch only in the mid-season update. But still, overall, for Walking Dead fans, you're going to be happy with this battle pass offering.
Sneak peek of new season 2 skins
Now there's even an additional sneak peek at some season 2 skins thanks to the blog post, right? A lot of images were provided for multiplayer. War Zone, and some of the events, and you can see a nice look at some various skins that are either in the battle pass or will be offered through various bundles.
throughout the entirety of season 2. There are a decent amount of milsim, a type of tactical militarized skin, which I think is going to really please that side of the community that's looking for more skins like this for those that don't like the goofy stuff in the reactive animated skins. You will still see some pretty serious tone milsim ones throughout season 2, but like I mentioned before over on Detonated as well.
I think overall the reason why they sell more of the wacky crazy reactive crossover skins is because they sell the most right That's obvious. If the milsim skins were selling really well through bundles, they'd sell more of them, but not that they forgot about milsim, tactical-looking outfits; they still release those through battle passes and maybe the occasional bundle here and there, but I think overall a good blend of both works best for a season's cosmetics, and that's what they're doing yet again here in MW3.
In season 2, people also noticed that the game carries Warlord, which is going to be released for zombies during the midseason. There is also an operator skin of sorts in either the battle pass or a bundle. It's a little doubtful that it's going to be a whole new operator, like a new character such as Doabe, but at least the outfit the warlord wears in Zombies will be usable inside of other game modes through whatever form they end up releasing this in at some point in season two.
Michonne bundle previewed early
I also got a preview of the Michael Operator Bundle, so she is a character that isn't featured in the battle pass like Rick, but she will be released for a 2400.
Cod Point Bundle: You see some footage right here of Mown on the operator selection screen. She comes with two blueprints: the sword melee weapon, which is also a mid-season unlock. I believe that'll be in the classified battle pass sector, but if you buy Michonne through her bundle, you'll just get instant access to that melee weapon anyway, and she'll also come with a finishing move and then some Walking Dead-themed cosmetics.
Who's to say we can't get more Walking Dead-themed crossovers throughout the MW3 cycle? I mean, Dune is getting a third crossover this season, and it would be cool to see another Walking Dead collab next year for Black Ops 2024. So we could play as some of these iconic characters in the next iteration of the round.
All new ultra skin store bundles
But when it comes to other store offerings, as they tease here in this blog, we have one called Let Them Cook, which actually looks pretty funny. I'm probably going to end up copying this one. There's also another cot endowment bundle coming out soon, and other store offerings do include Tracer Pack Resonance, which is an ultra-skin There's an Aberration Ultra Skin Tracer Pack, and then there's something called Full Kit Dragon Soul for Lunar New Year, so that's for the Chinese New Year celebration.
I'm sure there'll be an in-game challenge event for that as well, and then there's going to be something called the Zombie Ethnic Worm Pack, followed by the Tracer Pack. Dune Part 2 hearkens in pack plus even more, so quite a few teasers there from this blog, but this is just a bit of a prelude to the blog we're going to end up getting this upcoming Tuesday, which focuses more on the battle pass in every sector, and then some other store offerings that we're going to be seeing throughout February and even March. I'll again make a separate article breaking that down when does end up dropping, but that is about it.
