News - The Warzone 2 Season 2 Operators. Laswell, Cal, Judo, Bike

dkdynamite

This is DK Dynamite, and today we're going to be talking about the operators coming to MW3 season 2, some surprise content updates, and even more. Drop a like, and also, as a big reminder, we got plenty of brand new covers that's going up over on Detonated. I've been writing quite a bit over the last few days for those out there who want additional coverage, plus there's plenty of tweets going up every single hour on Detonated.

I did post a dedicated article talking about all the maps we know are coming in MW3, season 2, plus information about some future maps that may be coming out at a later date.

New event & operator tomorrow

New event & operator tomorrow

I wanted to focus more on the brand new characters SL operators coming with our second season of content, but today's the last day of Double XP for MW3 in war zone, and it's also the last day to complete your soup takedown event challenges, which you could do in either MP or war zone. Tomorrow is the beginning of the VA Week event, and as a part of the boys collaboration.

I'm assuming the A train operator is also going to end up dropping. With the launch of this new event, and that'll be an XP Focus Challenge event allowing you to unlock several different boys-themed cosmetics, and lastly, a VA International-themed Universal, camo I'll be live streaming that update as well as a new set of weekly challenges as of tomorrow morning, and don't forget we're also getting the release of Team Gunfight, a brand new mode exclusive to MW3 multiplayer.

4+ new operators in season 2

modern warfare 3 season 2

That's one of the final promise game modes here as a part of season 1, but when it comes to season 2, it looks like we're getting upwards of four plus new operators. Now, I do want to remind you guys that when it comes to all rumors and leaks, take everything with a grain of salt. Some information may have been misinterpreted.

Some of it could be out of date, and some of it may actually reflect content that's going to be released. Beyond season 2, maybe even season 3, but what we've seen typically, at least with MW2, and 3, is around two to three new operators added via a brand new battle pass. I have a separate article talking about what we know so far about the season 2 battle pass that'll be coming out either tonight or tomorrow morning, but something that Cold War did and even a bit of Vanguard was release one or two operators in your new battle pass, then throughout the season drop another couple of characters.

Via store bundles Right now, there wouldn't be a free way to unlock any of those characters, but there would be additional new characters added into the operator selection menu, apart from the battle pass, just through 2400 Cod Point or 1,00 Cod Point bundles. We haven't really seen too much of that with MW2 or 3, apart from the crossover celebrity-type bundles.

In the case of season 1, we have Atrian and Firecracker, which weren't a part of the battle pass for season 1, but instead we're just part of dedicated bundles season 1, which added Abatement Doab and even Nolan to our operator selection menu, whereas right now with season 2, it's looking like we're going to get at least Lwell as our battle pass operator.

Laswell may be the battlepass focus

Laswell may be the battlepass focus

Several leads who suggest that should be the main focus of the brand new season, and like we'll be talking about later in a battle pass Focus article looks like we're getting a task force one-on-one, con theme season bit of a hybrid of that, which I'm looking forward to, if the rumors are correct.

But Call of Duty also went ahead and posted this very particular image over on their threads account, which is an alternative to Twitter that Instagram owns. I don't really use the app all that much, and I wasn't aware that Call of Duty did either, but they posted this picture right here, which does show you a list of all of our main characters inside of MW3, but there's a new icon there for Lazell that we haven't seen in the game before, and it's clearly the icon we're going to end up seeing when we get to play as her in any game mode of of our choice.

Milena romanova will be playable

There are also rumors going around about Molina Romanova becoming a playable operator at some point in the future. I actually doubt that she'll be added in season 2, but just in case she gets added via a random store bundle, not the battle pass. I'm going to mention her anyway; there's obviously a lot of plot left to be desired with her character.

We obviously learned from her first appearance in the Vondal season 4 cinematic cut scene last year that she made an appearance in the campaign by directly working with Marov. And her plot, or.

Cal, judo & bike characters next!

Cal, judo & bike characters next!

I guess the post-launch narrative is still a bit unknown in terms of where they're going to go with it, but I think of Lazell jumping into the mix; he's probably going to give us new orders as to who the villains still are here inside of the Modern Warfare universe, so those are two characters so far that have heavily leaked out, but now, when it comes to some brand new rumors that surface following the launch of season 1 reloaded, we have three brand new operators by the name of Cal Judo and even bike now it's unclear, who these characters are what they look like but apparently they are tied to season 2 now like I mentioned earlier in the article.

mw3 bike

These could be operators they release later than season 2. Often times, we see things get added to the files that aren't exactly for the very next title update but are even past that, so keep an open mind for who these three characters could be. I'm going to guess Lwell is the focus of the battle pass, and then you have two of these other characters that are just featured in other sectors.

Then there's also the possibility of another character being added via a store bundle, but I do think what they're going for now is only adding in new store bundle operators. If they're a part of a licensed collaboration, right, a celebrity crossover of sorts, so take that as you may, but it's cool that we do have new operators on the way to help further The post-launch narrative for Modern Warfare 3 I also want to mention the fact that Rick and Michonne currently leaked out a good couple of weeks ago; their actual names were data mines.
