News - New Warzone 2 Godzilla X Kong Content Update Event. Operators, Challenges & More. Warzone 2
With the date, unlike some of the other events that have been leaked, they don't specifically mention King Kong or Godzilla in the files, so as of right now, maybe it's too early to tell because if it does happen, it'll happen in season 3, or this could just be meant for the boys. We'll find out once the season 1 reloaded update goes live and we actually see the rewards for this event.
For now, it's definitely not something that is confirmed. I just wanted to get the topic in discussion, talk about it, and share the information that we have so far on it anyway.
Mw3 godzilla & kong operators, rewards, challenges, & more!
If the event does end up happening, we will end up getting operators. There will be a big event that comes along with it. There's also a Godzilla and King Kong being added to the game. We saw how Operation Monarch worked and where they were available on the war zone map. You were able to get store operator bundles that were related to them.
They had their traps around. I believe there's also a Godzilla Mastercraft. And overall, it was a massive event. Think of it just like the Codas event that we have right now. Think of it like the boys event that we are getting anyway. Even if this event doesn't happen, you can expect that there will be a different crossover that we will get in Season 3.
As you saw with Modern Warfare 2 every single season, we ended up getting some sort of crossover that was added into the game in Modern Warfare 3 season 1 part one; we saw the Dune event part two; we're getting the boys; season 2 is speculated to be The Walking Dead; and season 3 is going to have its own, whether it's the Godzilla event or something else.
You can definitely expect that there will be crossovers that will continue because they are big money grabs for Call of Duty. They bring in a lot of money with people buying these crossover bundles and enjoying these different types of events anyway. Do you think that the Godzilla Kong event will happen based on the information that I've given you?

Shadowban update in mw3 & warzone
Anyway, going on to the last and final topic that we have for today's article, this is a little bit off topic from this article, but apparently Shadow Bands ended up getting an update. And this is what it looked like before. It says Shadow Ban players will now see limited matchmaking on their Activision ban appeal website; previously, it used to be under review, and this is what it looked like, and now it's actually limited matchmaking.
And then, when you look at the description, it also gets updated; it says your account is in limited matchmaking. Due to a potential violation, unfortunately we are unable to inform you when the account will exit a limited matchmaking state, so it means that with this message that they give you, they pretty much have acknowledged that shadow bands are a thing, and if you get Mass reported, they end up putting you in this limited matchmaking state.
State until they review your account to see if you actually violated any of the rules or not, which usually takes 5 to 7 days. This and skill-based matchmaking are the biggest issues that Call of Duty has right now, and the fact that they're sort of starting to give us a little bit of communication is a good sign.
I didn't expect Call of Duty to do any sort of update like this; honestly, they didn't even need to, but I guess it was just a little bit better just to let you know that you are now in a limited matchmaking state. We're still waiting on them to talk about skill-based matchmaking. They said sometime in season 1 they're going to give us a little bit more information and start the discussion with skill-based matchmaking, what they can go on about doing to fix it, and pretty much just getting the community involved with community updates and getting the discussion started, but they haven't done that as of right now.
