News - More Warzone 2 The Boys Event Challenges & Rewards Revealed (camos, Blueprints, More) Warzone 2
More upcoming the boys events
The boys event is going to be a lot bigger than we expected it to be. There's actually going to be three different events that are going to take place. One we already have right now; there's going to be another one starting this coming Wednesday; and then even the week after that, there's going to be another one, and there's just going to be so many different rewards you're going to be able to unlock from this.
I'm also going to talk a little bit about some upcoming updates that are going to be happening this Wednesday, and so much more. I also posted a article on my War Zone channel where I covered all the metal loadouts, the details you need to know, and everything about War Zone that's going on. Be sure to check that out if you play that, and if you like any of the gameplay you see here and want to know about the loadout, I probably already covered it on that channel.
New upcoming playlist & store update
We have a big update that's going to be coming out this coming Wednesday. It's going to be bringing in a brand new event. It's going to bring in a new set of playlists and challenges. And here's just an early tease at what some of these are going to be for the playlist update. Modern Warfare 2's MH pit is going to actually make a return; this will be available this upcoming Wednesday, and then team gunfight is also going to be another mode that will be available, and the map rotations that are going to be in this MW2 MH pit are going to be Form 18.
Shoot House, Marcato Los Alus, and Crown Raceway, after briefly adding them in and then removing them. They are finally bringing them back; hopefully this time around they will bring them back for a longer period. We got another store update, and this finally brought in the augmented human Tracer pack bundle; it's now available for $2400.
Cod points You get yourself the Vex operator skin for Jet. There are also two different weapon blueprints, including the title lock for the Tack Eradicator. As well as the retti called the exordium, they also got Trace surrounds and effects, and here's an early showcase of what that looks like. Something else that I noticed when I was looking at this Trac around is the dummy that they are shooting; it looks like a brand new black cell operator skin that we haven't yet gotten.
I'm not sure. Maybe it could be an MW2 one. Is this a new black cell operator, or is this an existing one anyway? The rest of the bundle will contain things like a brand new weapon charm called Optics. You also have a loading screen called the wet weather infill. A weapon sticker called the x marks the hit, and finally an emblem called the beautiful distraction, which is also animated.
3 the boys events & rewards revealed
Anyway, let's go ahead and talk about the main topic that we have for today's article, and that has to do with the upcoming boys event. The boys event is actually going to be spread into three separate sections; it's going to be a lot bigger than we thought, so we have the first week right now, which is available.
You can do your challenges, complete all those, and get the rewards. There's a total of seven rewards that you can unlock; it's called the soup takedown. Following that, there will be a second event that takes place in week number two, and then after that, there will be a third event that takes place in week number three, which they also mentioned over on the main homepage.
Vought week event rewards & a-train bundle release date
Earn XP to unlock rewards and equip a train from the Tracer pack. Tag the boys a train operator bundle for a boost. This event will be starting on Wednesday, so this is going to be the second boys event, and this also indicates that the at-train operator skin is going to be releasing on Wednesday, or else why would they make an event based on him if he's not going to be available for you to unlock in the store?
That pretty much gives us the official release date for the Atrian Operator Bundle. If you want the full showcase article, I already made a article covering all the upcoming operator skins. I'll have the link. This is going to be an XP-based event; it's going to be just like the Magma Vortex Camo event that we had, except you're not going to gain 1.2 million XP this time around; it's probably going to be around 400,500k.
The reason the other one was so high is because they gave you two weeks to do it this time around. You only have one week to complete this one; it will go away permanently on Wednesday, so it's going to be around 458k. XP If I'm not mistaken, that's usually how much you need to gain. There's good news and bad news about this.
Even the bad news is that we don't know what all the rewards are going to be. Every 10 to 15, 000 XP you get, you will get some sort of reward, which typically consists of things like emblems, calling cards, stickers, etc., and weapon charms. Double-XP token battle pass XP tokens, the good news is we got a bunch of different icons, emblems, and calling card stickers; we just don't know which event to time to because there's two more that are going to be coming in, and we know what the Mastery camo is going to be.
This is called the Making Hero Super Camo. This will be the reward that you get for completing the entire thing once you reach the full amount of XP that you need for this event. This will be the camo that you unlock, sort of like when we had the Doom Part 2 event, the magma camo. A huge shout out to Austin 6 for getting this early gameplay footage of what this camo will look like in the game.
Unfortunately, it is not animated, but in my opinion, it's a little bit better than the one that we currently have right now that you can unlock anyway. This will be the master reward that you'll be able to get for the second event.
The boys supe siege event challenges & rewards
Now there's going to be a third event that takes place, which is going to be in week three. This event is going to be called the Boys Soup Siege, and what this will be is says the best at Vault has to offer complete event challenges to unlock rewards.
Prove that you belong to the soups by completing six challenges in the Boy Soup Siege event challenge. Master all six challenges to earn the boy special lmg weapon blueprint featuring four attachments equipped with a whopping 150. Round drums and incendiary ammunition for aggressive suppressive fire.
This is the official description that we got for the second event, and as you saw from the past, we saw the Tack Eradicator, which was a weapon blueprint, and this was called the boy special. Here's just a reminder of what this weapon blueprint will look like: We saw that, and they also mentioned it in the Call of Duty blog post at the time, so we were wondering what they were talking about because these challenges did not match with the ones that we saw right now, but here's just a reminder of what these challenges are going to be.
