New warzone operation day zero event details & leaks

We've got another upcoming event here in the war zone that honestly is a lot bigger than you might think on face.

Operation day zero is the first warzone event of its kind

value This is an event that we really haven't talked about too much up until this point, even though it has actually been leaked for quite some time, and this is an event unlike a lot of these other ones that we're currently seeing in games, like the Walking Dead event or, you know, the various different crossovers that we've seen up until this point, the horde hunt event stuff like that.

This is on a much larger scale. What this is known as is Operation. Day Zero, and this actually connects war zone and Modern Warfare 3 to war zone Mobile in a way that we really have never seen in Call of Duty history before, and especially in war zone history to be more specific, here so as you may or may not know War Zone Mobile is still in its rollout phase of release, if you want to call it that.

Essentially, they are doing a staged release for various different regions, so it'll become available in one part of the world and then shift to another and then to another, ultimately leading up to a global launch in what is currently listed as spring 2024. They have not been more specific than that, but spring starts towards the end of March this year, so sometime after that, in the spring season, we'll see the full global launch of War Zone Mobile.

It won't be a staggered release anymore, and anyone anywhere can play the game. This is a big deal in and of itself for a handful of reasons. War Zone Mobile is going to be the first full-on mobile experience that directly connects to the standard Call of Duty experience with War Zone in MW3. This year, ultimately, it'll intertwine with War Zone and Black Ops Go War later this year; whatever Cod 2025 ends up being whatever Cod 2026.

It ends up being so on and so forth, so this is just the beginning of this much larger connection between mobile and standard gameplay, with console in the mix as well, and before you go out there worrying, you know we are going to end up being matched with mobile players. It's very unlikely that that's going to be a scenario.

But why is Operation Day Zero such a big deal?

Well, it actually connects the dots with a bunch of different leaks and major rumors that we've heard recently. In and of itself. Operation Day Zero is more like a celebratory event for the launch of War Zone Mobile, and it'll include event challenges similar to those that we've seen with some of the various in-game events so far this year with MW3 in War Zone that can definitely be completed in War Zone Mobile itself.

Currently, there's no clarification as to whether or not it'll be something that's available to be completed in the standard war zone and standard MW3. That'll be something that's more clarified and announced once this is all official. You know, keep in mind that this is all still just leaks and rumors at the moment, but this event will include some specific challenges.

It'll unlock some new operator skins, probably some blueprints, and even a brand new universal sort of topography. Camo has already been leaked as well; that's sort of like a blue metallic too, which is kind of cool, and just because of that and having those crossplay rewards that'll be available because of cross progression, which obviously War Zone Mobile is going to include, this means if you unlock it on your War Zone Mobile account, you can jump on a standard war zone and jump into Fortunes Keeper Orxan.

And use those same rewards, and we're on some specific exclusive stuff there in just a moment, but again. Operation Day Zero being such a huge deal for Standard War Zone is what it could potentially finally bring to the game. Currently, it's already been announced that War Zone Mobile is going to feature Verdansk as its main map.

all the trailers, so far, all the trailers So far, all the gameplay that we've seen features Verdansk as the main map, and currently, we know the rumor is that for COD 2024. Black Ops Go War, reportedly. Verdansk is going to be the big map for that, and we'll see The Return of that alongside the G War integration.

This fall SL, you know, early winter in like December and whatnot, it's also said with rebirth returning to war zone mobile that sort of interconnectivity. Between console PC and mobile would align as well, and you may or may not recall, but recently, with the launch of season 2, there were a bunch of new game files that were leaked in data mines that indicate that Birth Island could be returning to War Zone this year.

As soon as season 3, there are a bunch of different strings in the files right now relating to the Rebirth season 3 infill sequence, season 3 gameplay, all sorts of different Easter eggs, and whatnot. There's no definitive timeline of when, okay, day one of season 3, Rebirth Island will be back, or perhaps it's season 3 Reloaded, then Rebirth will be back.

That's just details we don't have as of now and probably won't have until we get that full season 3 road map in several weeks, but in spring 2024, it lines up perfectly. With season 3 of Modern Warfare 3 and War Zone, and obviously that's when the full release of War Zone Mobile is happening as well, so as you sort of start to see the stars aligning here and the dots connecting here, it would make a whole lot of sense if the War Zone Operation Day Zero event and what not to celebrate War Zone Mobile dropping ties in directly to arguably the most anticipated update in war zone history, that being the return of Rebirth Island.

I mean, just based on the information that we have so far with the time frames and all the leaks and rumors. It does certainly line up very conveniently.
