News - Warzone: Season 1 Reloaded. New Weapons, Ranked Play, More
In today's article. I got you guys with everything that you guys need to know about season 1 reloaded before it goes live in Modern Warfare 3 and War Zone 3, so without further ado, let's get right on into it. The first thing is that the battle expands as season 1 reloads for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty War Zone 3.
The mid-season update brings an all-new 6v6, multiplayer map, and game modes, plus the introduction of multiplayer ranked Play Take on the Champions Quest and the new Goog public event in the Call of Duty War Zone and battle a new Warlord and zombies alongside two new weapons. The boys have limited time, multiplayer mode, and event challenges.
There are plenty to look forward to when season 1 reloads. It launches on January 17th at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time across all platforms. Bell will turn on so that way you guys don't miss that article the day before season 1 reloaded drops, and here's going to be the overview. So we got a new 6v6 multiplayer map called Rio, which is a core map; we got team gunfights and infected headquarters; we got the boys LTM; and Challeng.
Since the new season of the boys is going to be dropping, there are going to be two new bundles, which are going to be a train bundle and a firecracker bundle, which I'm going to try to put on the screen right here for you guys to see, and then of course we get our introduction to multiplayer. Ranked Play, which is going to have CDL rules, meaning it's going to be 44 no suppressors, limited kill streaks, and all of that good stuff, and this season I might try to hit Iridescent or the top 250; who knows, we'll see, and here is a better look at our new 6v6 map.
Rio, this is a view from it overhead on the mini map, and then this is what I would assume is the loading screen for it, and then just a few new different spots on the map to kind of get a good feel and prepare for what this map is going to be like. It looks like it's going to be a shopping center in Rio, which is a medium-sized, multiplayer map, so it's not going to be quite as small as a shipment, but it's also not going to be quite as big as a lot of the maps are in Modern Warfare 3, and here's the Boys LTM, which is a souped-up version of Kill confirmed inspired by the hit TV series, in this classic mode.
Fallen operators drop doses of temp V, giving temporary power boosts like heat vision to those who swoop in to collect them, so it looks like it's basically going to be the exact same thing as we got in the war zone except this time because a train is in the game. It looks like we're also probably going to be getting super speed, as we could see from this image right here, and it looks like if you complete this event, you will get a special LMG weapon blueprint, and then here is ranked play.
This is how ranked play is going to work. As I said, it is going to be 4v4. It is going to be harder for players to do after they reach level 55, which is good because that means that it is going to be harder for hackers to get into lobbies; they're going to have to basically get their account all the way up to level 55 without being banned, and that's actually very hard for a lot of hackers to do; if not, they're going to have to do it all in one sitting because Ricochet is going to catch them eventually, and yeah.
I mean, the SR rules are practically the same; the maps are going to be right here; here's the ranked play rewards for anyone who's interested in all of that zombie overview. As you guys saw earlier, we're going to be getting a completely new warlord in the exclusion zone, which is going to be a different type of worm, which is going to be a form of the South Korean-born Doabe.
Overcome her to earn higher-tier loot, and then here we go. We got to the Call of Duty war zone automatically, and we got a change to the Champions Quest, achieving Champions Quest Domination. By completing a brand new quest for Zikan, attempt this multi-part challenge to instigate a devastating end game, so it looks like there's a new way to activate the nuke in War Zone 3, as opposed to having to get five wins in a row and then having to do the contract flawlessly.
We're also going to be getting a goog night vision public event, which is going to give us basically night vision goggles, and we're going to have to fight it out on goog, which I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about that, but we're going to have to just wait it out and see because I've never been too big of a fan of nighttime maps, but nonetheless, it is also a great thing to be adding to make everything feel fresh.
Grab the weapons case, so it seems like they took something out of the DMZ book. A new weapon case objective is available for the first time in Battle Royale. Players can now battle over a single weapon case hidden in a search area at the start of every match to spice up the early game. Now I don't really care too much about this because I don't play Big V.
I'm sure some big V content creators might like it and some might hate it, but considering that this is something taken from DMZ. I know a lot of big V content creators are probably not going to like it, and then, as a new way to escape, players can now fill the match early with the help of a covert fill, offering a new win condition for those able to pay the price for a ride out if you can secure it.
I don't like that; automatically, I don't like that. It seems like they're trying to implement DMZ way too much into the war zone, but they're trying to do it in a slick way by making the xfill super expensive. Like I said, I don't really care too much because all I play is Resurgence, and I know they're not going to add an Xville to Resurgence, and this is really only for Big Map.
But I really do not like that. I don't like the fact that you can xfill if you can xfill. I mean, it's a battle royale. At the end of the day, you shouldn't be able to leave the zone early, and still, to win, you should have to fight to the end or die, so it looks like here's the updated version of the Champions Quest.
It looks like here they are setting off the nuke, and then this is going to be the Champions Quest reward. It looks really cool. I actually like it a lot. Here's going to be a look at the NVG Goog public event a little bit. It kind of just looks like a normal goog. Lo here, and then here's how the weapons case is going to be looking, and then here is the cover of Xville Chopper in the back, and it looks like this is the animation that you get once you leave the match early, which again.
I really do not like. Here's a general overview. Obviously, we're going to be getting two new weapons, which are going to be an SMG and a LMG, into the war zone. Here's the new weapon that I was talking about earlier: we're going to be getting the HRM. 9 and the SMG. It looks like the damage is pretty good.
