News - Warzone 2 Season 3 Roadmap, Gameplay, Content
It did leak out, suggesting that it is a launch season 3 experience. But there is, of course, the specialist perk package that got teased by Raven a little while back. The data miners have suggested that that's going to be a mid-season 3 update, so I'm curious if that means we're going to see specialists.
Just as an exclusive perk package for rebirth. And then maybe that comes to other war zone maps in the future after season 3 that's a question as of right now but definitely expect some Surprises with rebirth as well cuz it's going to be the rebirth reinforced, version of the map or an updated version of that map that we're going to be getting in season 3 so definitely looking forward to any possible Quest Easter egg secrets and even Black Ops 2014 teasers or hey maybe even a live event, that really sets up tr's next game so expect a lot of really cool goodies with rebirth Island here in season 3 then when it comes to zombies we actually know a decent amount of information about what's coming to this mode in our third season or Beyond and it's actually a lot more content than we got in season 2 for mwz.
The zombies season 3 update.
So first off, we are set to receive a new dark ether Rift and another portion of Alaza; this time it's going to be the Zarqua hydroelectric section of that map, so we'll learn more information about that soon. There's apparently a new act mission focusing on Ava, cleansing artifacts, and using the abilities and attributes from those artifacts to give you more damage against zombies and better vision.
Yeah, the details on those are a little unknown, but we are going to have to find some artifacts again in season 3. There's apparently a new boss called the champion. It's unclear if that's the same champion as Nine. I highly doubt it, but that would be cool if it was the same model we saw back during Black Ops 4.
There's also a pvpve. Experience that's been rumored for quite some time, so yes, a player versus player mode for MWZ, it'll obviously be separate from the current zombie experience we have in MW3. An LTM most likely, but new information was discovered about that it still exists, and apparently there will be a warlord that you can track down and grab weapon cases from, and that could of course be left over from the war zone.
It could even be for the war zone, but I think the leakers out there did post that batch of information when talking about zombies, so it is likely we end up seeing some reason to go into PVP mode. Aside from being able to kill other players and take their loot, there might even be bosses and exclusive rewards or schematics we can get just by playing that LTM, but there is some vague information about the new schematics, says Warlord Afo.
Barrett. Warlord Chemist Mask. Warlord Rain Maker Vest, and Warlord Myestro Mod, so it does look like by killing certain Warlords you'll end up getting certain drops that I guess are schematics, maybe just enhance gas mask, enhance vest, or enhance ammo mods. Something that we just don't have in the game right now—I mean, that's a cool way to introduce new schematics—is maybe taking certain attributes from various Warlords that could just be in the PVP mode, like I said, or could be featured in the actual zombie experience.
Seasonal prestiges & easter event
Don't forget that with the start of season 3, we should be seeing four new prestiges added to the game, which should be prestiges 10 through 13, and the new max level will roughly be around 650.
Weekly challenge rewards & camos
We should also be seeing an easter event that we don't know much about just yet but definitely expect an Easter Theme bundle possibly an LTM, maybe finding Easter egg baskets instead of loot chest around war zone and maybe even a free camo or blueprint unlock I'll keep you guys posted on an Easter focused event after St Patrick's Day cuz I'm sure more information will be learned once season 3 does roll around but lastly don't forget about brand new weekly challenges so they'll likely end up being a grand Mastery reward for doing eight weeks worth of weekly challenges whether it's a weapon a blueprint, whether it's an animated camo we still haven't even unlocked our season 2 Mastery weekly camo just yet we're going to get that really soon but there are some new camos that were leaked out we don't have images of them just yet but the co names for them were found they're known as piranha, putrid Locust Venom prism, desolation.
