News - Warzone 2 Season 3 Roadmap, Gameplay, Content
Maps were added to the game, and so far we've got a really cool amount of content for multiplayer. Over the past two seasons, we got three original maps in season one, two dropped at the start of the season, one dropped during the mid-season, and then with season two, season two actually kicked off with three original maps for 6v6, which was really impressive to see, but now that means we have just six maps left to go, but with four seasons left to release, that means they'll probably split it up, so we only end up getting one to two original 66 maps per season moving forward. Whereas one season will probably be left with just one original map but that's fine considering it doesn't account for maps we could see added into gunfight, ground war even the war experience, and those modes could also see original maps that aren't just pulled from war zone so take that into account I'm just talking about 6v6 here but as of now not much is known about upcoming 6v6 Maps but we should be seeing one to two Max at some point during our third season which will'll learn more about closer to the marketing, but as far as multiplayer goes there are some cool updates in regards to perks and even equipment that we may end up seeing added into the game so first off specialist bonus which is scheduled for war zone may also come to multiplayer.

But I can't confirm that as of yet we have the usual leakers out there that are posting some information on Twitter suggesting that could be the case, but here's what definitely is coming to multiplayer: we have what are called dauntless boots. Ninja Glov, a compression plate, a compression carrier vest, and even a pistol vest, so it's unclear what some of these things do, but what is really exciting is that a quick fix is finally coming to the game now that the compression carrier that I mentioned is actually what we know as a quick fix; the description says it reduces health regen delay by 20%.
It immediately regenerates health after a kill. I can't tell you how important this perk is for MW3.
4+ new weapons got previewed early
Considering the higher ttk, and the increased Health it's harder to go on crazy chain feeds it's harder to go ahead and kill, more than three four people with one clip if by time you finally put in all the damage to eliminate someone else's Health you have very low Health at that point so to have Quick Fix can really improve the pacing of the game and could probably mean that people are going to be getting some nastier Clips When jumping into multiplayer , but as far as weapons do go we do have the following as of right now again this isn't the full list of season 3 Weaponry but for now we know about the Bal and the moris that's an AR and a sniper respectively that we saw back in Advanced Warfare, we also have what is known as the MP9, full auto pistol something called the compound bow while there's also rumors about an ice pick and even a shovel now I was teased a little while ago in a Sledgehammer Games Q&A that the spaz shotgun may be returning, apparently at one point that was in the game's files but no longer is not sure what happened with that one and then also the ARX.
That's a rifle that was coming to the game. I know there's a variant of it in the game already, but I think an additional variant of the ARX was supposed to drop that also got removed. There were rumors about an EM1 a little while ago, the laser from Advanced Warfare; we already saw that in Vanguard, but apparently it was coming to this game, and I think people out there misinterpreted the Storm Ender for the EM1, if I'm not mistaken.

But I also wanted to dedicate a time stamp here to aftermarket parts because there's a lot coming to the game, and there's even some for MW2 weapons, which is really crazy to think about, so first off, the RG80. It does appear to be getting an aftermarket part at some point that allows you to change the projectile that's fired.
Not much else is known about that, but here are some codenames the leakers out there did post on Twitter of other amps coming into the game. These will obviously drop via weekly challenges, battle pass tiers, and maybe some other means that we don't know about, but we apparently have a lever stock amp, a Jugger Break, and a MAG 20 68r. A veco wreck a Veo mag ammo, 762 so I being able to so I guess being able to change the caliber of a certain weapon we have the barcel 300 a MAG 300 a stock 300 a wreck amp iron amp bar amp a stock amp and a 50b amp so obviously these are a little out of context we're not exactly sure what some of these amps are but it's cool to know that a lot of them are in the works and there is one even coming for MW2, as I will put on screen so cool to know that this is a system that they're going to continue updating over the course of mw3 is life cycle really a fan of looking forward to some of these new aftermarket parts each and every week but now when it comes to operators, so as of right now it is known that we're going to be seeing some type of operator bundles that are themed around Godzilla.
Gameplay showcase of new crossover
Scar and Shimo are the three characters we're going to see in Godzilla X-Kong: The New Empire. The King Kong theme bundles are already dropping before the start of season 3, but gameplay has already surfaced of different finishing moves from those various bundles that I mentioned, so that should mean that we're getting a continued collaboration.
With Godzilla X Kong throughout season 3, fingers crossed we also end up getting an LTM.
Every operator & skin in mw3 season 3
Like operation Monarch or something with the Titans in multiplayer or war zone but as far as other operators do go these are the following skins we're going to be seeing added throughout our third season, and yes this also includes some skins for 1 14 one so we're going to be getting one skin for cheat one for Chong one for Devin Booker so that confirms three more collabs right there we also have two skins for Snoop Dogg which I'm not sure how that's going to work but we then have one for abolisher, two for macarov, with one being that Prison Break one I showed you at the beginning of this article we then have one for Valeria one for Gaz one for harangi one for far two for soap two for ghost two for jet one for price two for Raptor two for BBQ, one for enigma four for Swagger.
One for Ripai, two for Doc, two for Doabe, three for Bine, one for Corso, one for Bantam, one for Scorch, two for Jabber, one for Alpine, and lastly, one for the warden, so we should be seeing various skins added throughout the battle pass black cell and future bundles in season 3 that will account for all the skins I just mentioned, but then there's also three Coden names that were discovered for three original operators that will likely end up furthering the post-launch narrative.
These operators are known as Romeo, summer, and fall.

And again completely unknown as to who these people are what they look like we'll learn more about that relatively soon but then moving into war zone not much is actually known right now about what's going to be added in our third season will we see new Champion Quest rewards probably and that's likely just going to be for zstan maybe not vondal, even though vondal BR just got added back in will we see a very different and unique playlist rotation and a calendar for our war zone playlist that's a great question cuz as of right now people are not happy with the rotation that is currently live, it's a possibility, that we end up seeing a shica or Another War Zone Map retired, as rebirth does get added in but as of right now all the evidence does point to the fact that rebirth island is coming to war zone Resurgence at the start of season 3 since loading screen Resurgence icon and other information.
