News - Unlock New Season 2 Rewards Fast/easy. Warzone 2 $500 Charm & Cursed Ammo Gameplay - Week 3
All week 3 challenges (all modes)
But the execution I think could have been a little bit better, and there really wasn't mention of this reward anywhere in any recent season 2 marketing so I'm not really surprised that we didn't get anything more than just the skin but still may be a cool opportunity for the future to come back to this concept to give people free tracers, or something interesting and unique when you pop your field upgrade now apart from that our new set of weekly challenges did go live this is going to be week number three and in terms of what you have to do for each individual mode you again only have to do five challenges across each of the modes you could do a couple of MP one in zombies one in BR, however you want to break it up you just need to do five total challenges for multiplayer, get 30 operator barebone kills with the Haymaker which means running zero attachments on that shotgun you can also get 20 operator hip fire kills with recommended pistols 10 operator Point blanks with recommended shotguns or five operator triple kills with recommended shotguns you can also get two operator kills with one mag 10 different times with recommended lmgs.
Two operators kill with one mag 20 times with the recommended Marksman, and seven operator-long shot kills with recommended shotguns for zombies; 250 critical kills with a recommended shotty; 100 critical mercenary kills with a recommended Marksman; again, mercenaries are the AI you see in some of the strongholds.
10 kills without being hit 20 times with a recommended shotgun or 25 dog kills with the haymaker. You can also get 150 kills with a recommended shotgun at Orange Legendary Rarity or 300 kills in Full Auto Fire mode with a recommended weapon, and lastly, 50 mercenary kills with a recommended pistol for Battle Royale. Unfortunately, there's no refresh with the challenges; maybe you have to play Resurgence or Fortunes Keep; they're the same kind of challenges we've always seen right opening up chest in the northwest region and southern region, even the eastern region and even the central region, but other than that, some of the more neutral contracts include placing in the top 10 five different times, opening 50 loot caches, or completing 15 different contracts.
The new shotgun amp is broken
Now the reward for doing at least five of these challenges across any mode is a 60-round shotgun aftermarket part for the Haymaker. Right, this aftermarket part is absolutely broken. I cannot believe how good it is. You will end up getting the Jack Magift kit, which I want to say is very useful, especially when going up against mimics in multiplayer.
If you're not using a pack-a-punch weapon that spawns during Hord Point, you're going to have a hard time killing mimics, right? They're absolute bullet sponges. But what do you know? The aftermarket part that just came out with that mimic LTM is perfect when going up against them, let alone using it against other real people in either multiplayer or war zone.
This thing is an absolute machine now. Unfortunately, it already got nerfed a little bit, but it's still viable. We'll get to that Nerf in just a few seconds, but I'm really happy to see how cool the aftermarket parts have been for Modern Warfare 3. I just wonder if anything like this will come back in Black Ops 2024.
In a future Call of Duty game.
All new multiplayer patch notes
I do have a dedicated War Zone article coming out tomorrow morning just before the podcast , but real quickly, in terms of multiplayer patch notes, we got some bug fixes right, resolving various issues causing the player to be unexpectedly kicked back to the menu, which is really frustrating. We also have issues with viewing the hord Hun event editing custom mods in the gunsmith equipping emblems in the last Chan battle pass prompt lots of issues with that were fixed as well as saving a custom mod in the gunsmith no longer removing certain camos, kill streak icons in the HUD no longer turning red after dying to a cruise missile there was even an fov bug that people out there expressed some love for which did get reversed I know people out there were sad about that in my stream, also progression bug fixes corrected criteria for multiple challenges to properly track the Jack ferocity carbine kit and even operator kills without the enemy damaging you camel challenge they also got some map adjustments there for underpass we got some adjustments for spawns and whatnot and transitions, on certain modes like control Cutthroat, team gun game people getting stuck without a weapon even the war mode had a problem after using a turret and smoke air drop simultaneously.
For weapons and attachments, though, we did get adjustments there for the MTZ 556. The Haymaker, including the Jack Magift kit, which again got a bit of a Nerf shortly after it was released, even got adjustments there for the Longbow Sniper. We have specific attachments there that have changed a bit.
We also have the tier and the Jack Beholder rifle kit, which got changed a little bit. We then have the shock stick tactical equipment, so the tech camera and portable radar are now affected by an enemy shock stick, which is interesting, and then Alli bombs will no longer be targeted and destroyed.
