News - My Response To Activision's Sbmm Matchmaking Blog Post. Call Of Duty Warzone 2

activision bllog post

We finally got it. Activision finally gave us the blog post talking about matchmaking in Call of Duty. AKA. Sbmm, they gave us a whole overview of how the matchmaking process works; allegedly, they broke down all the details about it; they made a lot of claims about what their goal is with the system and what they want to see and all this; and they even addressed some concerns of the community that we've been having about the algorithm.

This is it on the screen. If you want to pause it and read it, you can do that, or you can go. I'm not going to read it for you; I'm not a news reporter or a second grade teacher, but I will be addressing all of the BS and lies that I found in this blog post, so hold on to your seat and don't move your feet; it's murder.

Time, you are now tuned in to the one and only Mr. Meress bad Ass, welcome to the murder show. To be fair in all honesty, I did not expect Activision to come out here and be open with us, put all the cards on the table face up, and tell us what's going on. There's no way in hell they were going to come out here and be 100% truthful with us.

Matchmaking is delivering a fun experience to our players, close friends, and now anybody who has been playing Call of Duty in the last 5 years, ever since Modern Warfare. 2019, answer this question for me: Has Call of Duty been fun in the last 4 and A2 years for you, or has it been the total opposite of fun?

Ain't no way fun is what you boys are concerned about over there. Demonware, when everybody who plays the game that I'm in contact with is not enjoying the [ __ ]. Nobody, because contrary to what they think about bad players quitting, bad players know that they're bad players and they understand getting their ass kicked, so they stick with the game so they can try to get better so they can be the ones kicking ass in the lobby, not getting their ass kicked.

If you needed to protect bad players in order for them to stick with the game. Call of Duty would have never gotten to the point that it was when it was huge, and we would have never fallen in love with the franchise. Back when we didn't have protection for being bad, if protection for bad players was actually needed, that's a bunch of [__], just like the second lie that they told about the matchmaking process.

As the community will attest, this is quoted by the way the King connection is the most critical and heavily weighted factor in the matchmaking process. [__], stop with the lies. When David Vonal was still at Treyarch back in the day, Ping was King; Ping hasn't been King since probably Bo4 at least; Ping has not been King ever since Modern Warfare 2019.

Anyone who actually plays the game can attest to that fact: the better you do in the lobby, the higher your ping will get until you're not able to do good anymore, but if you've been doing bad for a long time, you will have the lowest ping in the lobby. [__] T, Guarantee, Drifter, and Exclusive A, and all of them even did a test about this a few years ago.

Demonstrating, how that's a fact and I can tell you from personal experience if you've been doing bad for like 12 to 18 hours and you get on, you going to have a 10 ping, 15 ping at the highest that [ __ ] might even be as low as five or six, sit in them lobbies with five or six ping and stomp the [ __ ] out of them for about 3 to 4 hours and then you'll see that ping go way the [ __ ] up you'll certainly be the [ __ ] with the highest ping in the lobby, stop with the lies people we done been figured this [ __ ] out a long time ago we didn't need y'all to come blow smoke up our ass you know what I'm saying we didn't need no fake ass explanations we needed y'all to come and tell us that y'all was going to do something about this [ __ ], which they mentioned a little something in the end we'll eventually get to that but I can't get past the fact that they lying about ping being the most important factor when it's really your recent performance is what determines your lobbies If Ping were King, people in America would never be matched up with people, and people in California would never be matched up with people in New York, but as we all know, matchmaking doesn't have any problem giving you a ping of over 100, just to find people in the world to put you in the lobby with that's sweaty enough to give you a tough time because God forbid somebody who has been playing the franchise for a long time and who Gotten Good at the game.

God forbid they go on a winning streak, right? That's something that they do not want, but we're going to get more into that in a little bit right now. Let's move on and talk about the second lie that they told in the matchmaking process—the second most important thing behind connection—that they say is time to match.

How long does it take you to find a match? Now, we all know that everybody who plays the game knows that it takes forever to find a match in Call of Duty nowadays, especially when you've been doing well, but take a look at how long it takes to find a match in Black Ops today. I just recorded this [__] with my phone.

Check this: Out, you saw that, one second, one [__] second to throw me in the lobby of a game that is how old when did Black Ops come out, 2010, 11, or some? [__], I don't want to hear it; connection and time to match are at the bottom of the list nowadays. Back in Black Ops 1, Ping was King, and you see how fast they throw you in the lobby.

cod rant

There was nothing to think about, right? They triy to say we've been having skill-based matchmaking since Modern Warfare 20 2007, Modern Warfare, [ __ ]. Because of all the old cards, it was that fast to find a match. It was that fast back then, and it's still that fast now because they ain't thinking about anything; they're not analyzing your latest matches, your latest performance, or what kind of weapons you like to use or what recent maps you played on.

They just throw you out there in the quickest match that they can put you in with a good connection, which is how it should be today. You shouldn't be out here monitoring all of these different aspects of the game and [__] and trying to play God in the middle; you're not [__]. God, you're just the [__] waiter; that's all you are; you're a butler, a maid.

Service the [__] and get out the [__] way. Stop trying to play God in the middle. You're not even playing the game; we're playing the game. Let us play the game. The game was way more fun when you stayed out of our business, just like a high school party with no chaperone. It's a light party, but if it's a party full of chaperones, we ain't even coming.
