But now for a full look here at all the other pieces of content we're getting for the event game modes, map reskins, and challenges. They gave us an official overview of what we're getting, but of course we have a lot of other leaks about specific details and previews regarding this event, so first up, the overall event is called Santa's Sligh Ground.
We're getting a ship, Miss Hangover. Snowfight infectious holiday and a challenge event and rewards, but of course we have more details for all that stuff here, so first off, of course we're getting ship Miss , which is a holiday reskin of a shipment; it's the same one we saw last year with MW2.

This was pretty obvious they already confirmed they were bringing back the shipment we saw last year so the Holiday version of shipment, was pretty likely going to return right it's always cool to see different variations of holiday shipment the one we saw in Vanguard was really cool previous games as well but you know the MW2 version we saw was cool glad that's returning not a big deal now hangover is actually the name of the holiday high-rise map that we got a bunch of early gameplay of this was definitely a solid decision to he if they just brought back holiday shipment that would have been a little lackluster, having all of these OG MW2, maps and not making any holiday reskins of them would have definitely sucked so highrise being brought over here and having a ton of decorations.

A little bit of a snowy Vibe as well, it's night time definitely, a really cool look here at the map now again as I talked about I wish they did this with more maps I mean I mentioned Afghan imagine Afghan, but completely snowed over of course that's not realistic for it to be snowing in the desert but it still is kind of cool right and I feel like it would have been a super cool backdrop as well rust of course we talked about that zombies map the custom zombies map Christmas rust that looks insane.
The decorations on the map looked wild for a zombie map, so having that in multiplayer in this game would have been even better, and of course I mentioned the winter crash as well. The likelihood of that ever releasing in this game is probably very low, but that map was just so cool-looking, so if they just said we're bringing back the winter crash, surprise.
I feel like a lot of people would be pretty excited about that.
New mw3 multiplayer holiday modes releasing!
That's going to get added, and we'll have a holiday version of that as well. I'm not sure what that's going to be about; we don't have many details on that, but we'll go through that next week when it's released.
All mw3 holiday multiplayer challenges & mastery reward
It sounds cool there for MP as well. We do have some challenges that we're going to be able to complete here.
There's a lot for War Zone that I'll go through in MP, though we have a decent idea of some stuff we have to do. So for the Kodas challenges in multiplayer, the first one is to get 40 operator melee kills with stalker boots equipped; the second one gets 40 operator kills with a weapon picked up from another player; and the third one gets 100 operator kills with the dg58.
LSW get six operator snowball kills and, of course, a snowball gunfight; get 40 operator headshot kills with a sniper DMR or battle rifle; get 30 operator kills while playing Infected Holiday; and get five operator kills while sliding or crouching. So standard stuff there again. This is not an XP progression event, and this is a pretty major event, so we're going to have all different challenges for all different game modes, and of course you're going to get a bunch of cosmetics as well, and that final reward will be some type of universal cam or pretty cool weapon blueprint, which we'll talk about later on in the article.
Of course, so far for the events we've seen in MW3. We've just gotten Universal camos as that Mastery reward which are cool I would rather see those than weapon blueprints, but what would be even better is getting some type of really sick hotti themed Mastercraft weapon like this up on screen a concept I have here of honestly what would be a really cool Mastercraft style weapon to get for completing all the event challenges, or maybe we talked about getting a full-on operator obviously not the Santa na operator or the painer one but a holy new let's say elf operator, that you're going to get by completing this event that is a solid reward to get here will they actually end up doing that we'll see very soon for the haunting event I thought that was probably the best event we've seen thus far in the past couple years for Call of Duty but the actual rewards you got for completing the haunting challenges.
Weren't too crazy at least for some of the weapon blueprints there we got I mean honestly for completing all the challenges in war zone you got a Bass, weapon blueprint right with a really just like not good camo it was pretty lackluster honestly so I'm not saying all the rewards we got there are were bad because you did get an operator skin right you got some cool stuff there but in terms of the weapons that weapon blueprint I mean completing all those challenges and getting the B P.
All warzone slay ride resurgence challenges
It wasn't the best reward there so for this event here getting a really sick Mastercraft, or an ultra skin or something like that would be a fire reward and would it would definitely incentivize players to really go through all these challenges complete all of them and feel satisfied at the end of the event for the holiday season so again we'll see what they end up doing with that next week but now for the war zone side of things there's a lot of stuff to break down first up here we have the slay ride challenges, in war zone only so slay ride Resurgence get X number of operative kills with assault rifles and slay ride Resurgence get X number of operator kills with SMGs, get X number of operator kills with snowballs, and slave ride Resurgence again get X number of operator kills with sniper rifles, place in the top five x number of times and get X number of operator kills with snowball at over 25 met so again that's a specific LTM.
