News - Are They Abandoning Warzone 2 Zombies After Season 2 Content Drop

And Fortune's Keep, which led a lot of the zombies Community including myself to believe that fortune keep would be coming to Modern Warfare Zombies well after looking at the road map and reading through the blog post entirely there is zero mentions of Fortunes keep coming to Modern Warfare Zombies, but there is mentions of a bunch of zombies, kind of content coming into war zone like zombies nest and hvt targets and things like that which I think that's kind of interesting I like war zone and I'm into zombies, but at the same time, from past experiences.

Maybe, but to me, this also seems like a very easy event for them to just kind of piece together because they already have all of these assets over in zombies. It's just like they're lifting a couple things from zombies, placing them in a war zone, and kind of calling it a new event. I think it's kind of lazy content, but now, who knows, I'm not going to rule out fortunes keeping coming to Modern Warfare zombies in the future.

I think that's something that could possibly still happen down the pipeline, but for right now there are zero mentions of it happening, and I don't think it's going to be happening anytime soon. But the thing we are guaranteed to get here in season 2 at some point anyway is a new story mission. A new dark ether.

Rift some new schematics. And a new warlord, and some of this I'm kind of excited for, and some of this has me a little bit worried now when they say a new story about a mission, which has me a little worried because I hear the word mission and not missions, which tells me that we're only going to be getting one yet again.

I was really hoping that they were going to eventually, kind of, go the DMZ route where we would get recycled. There are a lot of missions to do, which doesn't seem to be the case here, but the story here in Modern Warfare Zombies is kind of interesting, and I am still excited to see where it goes.

We got the new dark ether Rift, and it looks like it's going to be taking place at the Alaza Mall. Now, if I had to take a guess, they're probably going to end up using the ground war maps from Modern Warfare 2 to end up doing these dark ether portals, so this just might be that whole SED city right there.

I don't know if I could be wrong, but this is kind of what I had a feeling that they were going to do with the next dark ether portal, just kind of moving us around areas of Almaz. I do believe coming in here is how we're going to be obtaining, the new schematics, coming in season 2 and also according to the blog post it looks like coming in here is going to be tied in with the new Story Mission as well they say that the girl that was speaking to us in the first dark ether is going to be making her presence even more known in this one and that we're going to be earning coveted rewards, following cryptic Clues and completing time tasks and there's also going to be the largest infected, stronghold that we've seen yet that'd be really cool if that was the allall next let's quickly run over the new schematics that we're going to be getting we are getting a schematic for the vr11.

I am pretty excited for this thing to finally come into the game because it does make doing the dark ether, especially for a solo player, way easier, and for some reason for myself, these things are always a pain in the ass to find. I always end up getting the other Wonder Weapons out of the ways to get these things.

Next, we got the blood burner key, which is going to instantly summon in that blood burner bike for you, so you don't have to go around looking for that thing. I'm sure we all know about this bike already; it's badass. Now the last schematic that we're going to be getting is actually one that I didn't see coming, and I kind of see it as new cuz with the blood burner, and with the vr11, we knew that those schematics were eventually coming, but I didn't know about this one, so next we got mags of holding.

Basically, what this is going to do is this is going to be pulling ammo from your inventory and not from your weapon, so that way you never have to reload. This schematic is going to be absolutely perfect. I think there was a gobble gum back in Bo3 that did kind of the same thing. Lastly, we're getting another warlord yet again, a human.

Now I know a bunch of these warlords have already leaked out, and I'm pretty sure the majority of them, if not all of them, are all humans. I'm really hoping at some point we get some, like alien or zombie warlords. I don't know, but she does look pretty cool, and it looks like she's going to be mainly dealing with gas and a lot of toxic stuff, so be sure to bring lots of gas masks and stuff like that.

I guess, and please. God, give out some better rewards than Doabe. And that's about it, guys. That's about all we're getting for Modern Warfare Zombies here in season 2. What are you guys thinking, man? Treyarch Activision, whoever's responsible for this, do you think that they kind of fumbled the bag with this one?

I'm very excited for the new content to come. I'm excited to make new articles. I love the game mode, but I think that it's kind of being put on the back burner. Just a little bit, we do know now that a couple developers from Infinity Ward have come over to work on Modern Warfare Zombies. Treyarch has now gone off to finish up their own game and polish it up for release at the end of 2024.

Some of my main hopes for this game that they really do somewhere down the line is that they at least give us a couple of new maps to play on and let us play on the Resurgence. Maps add in a few more bosses, Easter eggs, and things like that, like that gargoyle alien from Ghost Extinction. It would be really cool to see some more, like bigger bosses, and Easter eggs would be awesome, and continuously.

Feed us some schematics here and there, and I think I'll be good till Treyarch drops their game, but hell. I don't know. I think at this point, that might even be asking too much. So that's it, guys. I am going to wrap up the article there. I know it really stinks that we have to wait until reloaded, or sometime within the season.
