Ranked play resets in mw3 & warzone
Now, outside of just general stats and your overall rank, we are going to see some other resets happening with MW3. And War Zone as well and this is in regards to the actual ranked play or League Play modes in each respective mode multiplayer and War Zone alike so we know that our ranked for multiplayer is going to be coming in season there pretty early on with that with a fresh year obviously again everyone's going to be starting fresh at their base rank whether you are you know Crimson iridescent, top 250 right now in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer ranked that's not going to matter come day one of ranked in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, you're going to be starting and having to build up your rep and Sr yet again to get that ultimate rank pretty similar against that fresh stat reset at the start of every single year and same deal basically over in war zone as well now we know that war zone ranked is not going to be on yhan and be returning to war zone after the integration until sometime in 2024. I would imagine with like Season 2 Season 2 reloaded maybe season 3 but once that happens again it doesn't matter if you end season 6 potentially, at iridescent or you know silver or whatever we're likely all going to be starting back at that initial rank of bronze and then working our way up with the new integration and new mechanics of War Zone involved there since it's going to feel like a completely different game so there are a lot of various different resets happening with this update at different times this year which is a bit different than normal but on top of that there's also, various things this year that will not be resetting unlike in previous years which is kind of exciting so for this initially, all of your MW2.
What is not resetting in mw3
Weapon levels, obviously with the transfer and the carryover content now with MW2. You're going to be able to use all your MW2 guns in MW3 right away that you have unlocked and if you have let's say your Tac V at level 15 out of whatever the max is that Rank and that level is going to carry over you're not going to have to Fresh Start on your MW2 guns if you have everything maxed out it's going to be maxed out day one in MW3, multiplayer and obviously war zone as well once the integration happens so that's definitely cool there you don't have to go back through and relevel up anything and in similar fashion your camo progress as well if you're going for Orion or polyatomic, or platinum or gold on any Modern Warfare 2 guns let's say you have almost all your head shot done on your Tac 56.
