Warzone new close range meta after season 2 update

Warzone new close range meta after season 2 update

Ladies and gentlemen. These are maybe the most competitive close-range options we've had so far to date in MW3 War Zone, and so today I wanted to break down the general close-range meta and also add in a little bit of sniper support here and there since I'd sort of say that they overlap some and are actually going to start with some of those great sniper support options.

Warzone best ram-7 sniper support loadout

Initially here with the ram 7, this was sort of the Do-it all rifle before season 2, but season 2 did Nerf its long-range capabilities, and now this thing really thrives in like the first 45 M or so prime close-range territory and sniper support territory. Initially, I'm going for the Zen 35 compensator.

This gives you a lessened radar ping, which is pretty solid but also helps out with some basic control and doesn't really hurt your ads. All that much does a tad bit for velocity, but that's not really a huge deal, especially when we got the core Mark 40 heavy barrel, which ends up increasing our velocity and helping out with range and control as well, so that's a solid counter to the cons of our muzzle's heavy support, making this thing nice and predictable.

Attacking that horizontal control and really giving us the best possible recoil pattern here 60 round drum your basic accent mag and then I also go for the 3.4, pad stock again just helps out a lot with control so this is a super low recoil sniper support option pair is great with a cat or even a stalker for aggressive sniping. I really love.

The feel of this thing, the Chimera from MW2, is also fantastic; the sniper support rifle is really built out to be an SMG. AR, hybrid-style build here, and it works really well for those first 30–40 MERS, or so it's also relatively easy to use, hence why I'm just going for a basic Shadow Strike suppressor.

It simply keeps me off the radar if you're okay with being a little bit slower with your ad speed. You know, Spirit Fire would be decent, even Sonic, because it is easy to use. You could get some better velocity and range out of that, totally dependent on how you want the weapon to feel and how comfortable you are, but really any of those would work well for a muzzle.

I go for the Vorpal barrel, which helps out with range and then a little bit of mobility here and there with your 80 ad strafe speed and your general ad speed, which just makes it a bit more versatile. The angled underbarrel doesn't hurt your ads whatsoever and gives you better horizontal control, so it makes the pattern super predictable and makes you, in general, just way more accurate when it comes down to it.

I got the 45-round extend mag here; this works fine with this fire rate, and then lastly, I do go for the ELO site, the MK3 reflector. A slate would work, and a night hour would work here as well. Those are all great, like close-range sniper-support-style sites. It really just comes down to preference, though. If there's a certain optic you love using and know you're going to hit your shots with, always go for that.

For sure, next up we got the AR9, and while this build in particular really is not meant for Sniper support, this thing's first damage range is so much better than every other SMG. You could realistically also use this for sniper support if you wanted to, but in general, this is just super aggressive.

Base amr9, the problem with the amr9 despite its ridiculous ttk is how slow its sprint to fire speed is, so I really try and attack that with this setup initially. I'm just going for the shadow strike suppressor, no Pros no cons it's not slowing me down or anything it's just keeping me off the mini map I do go for the skeletal vertical grip this gives me some better vertical control only hurts your horizontal a little bit which is not a deal breaker here by any means and it's doing 5% to my Sprint of fire and helps out my ads speed as well so I'm really attacking when I'm the most concerned about with this setup I you go for the 50 round extend mag very basic there the buffer tube stock gives me 16%, to your my Sprint of fire my general ads speed improves my base movement speed improves my strafe speed improves really speeds up the gun in general and then this is where it really just comes down to preference a lot of players really don't like the iron sights here so I'd recommend something like an MK3 or whatever you're the most comfortable with that said if you are okay with the iron sights, use the Phantom grip 24%.

The increase in the sprint to fire here is going to be huge in the long run, so it really just comes down to what you value more there: that clean optic or that super fast sprint to fire. For what this gun is, either way, it's going to be solid, and if you get your sights up, this thing's going to absolutely.

Melt, now the brand new Ram 9 is also a phenomenal close-range choice, especially in its first damage range. It's got one of the best TTKs in class, so that's super convenient while also being pretty easy to use and very snappy and aggressive in terms of mobility.

Initially. I got the Z3 compensator again under the Z35 compensator, which only hurts my velocity, and my ads feed a little bit—not a huge deal on SMG builds—which helps out with that control and keeps me nice and accurate. The light barrel on here is going to extend that first damage range, which is pretty convenient.

It also helps get some velocity back, so it's a bit more versatile and gives me better strafe speed too. I got the 50-round EX mag, which is pretty basic and self-explanatory. There the rort 90 rear grip helps out with that better control across the board only hurts your idle sway but in SMG style gunfights not going to be a huge deal then I go for the motion tack pad stock I kind of been interchanging the motion tack and then also the ultral light Ultralite does a lot more for base mobility.

Motion Tac does better for Sprint of Fire and ads, and this gun Sprint of Fire is also not all that great, so if I can bump that up, that's pretty solid there. Also, for what it's worth, if you are really comfortable with a control, you could try using the haste grip rip tape because that's 10% of your Sprint of Fire as well, which could be pretty valuable.

All things considered, overall, this is a really solid weapon, and I've been using it a lot as of late. I just love the feel of it now in the swarm.

Despite some of the Nerfs that I had seen previously. I would say it still falls into that close-range meta just because its first damage range, while it's only like 6 to 8 m depending on your build, is still crazy fast in terms of ttk, and the gun's pretty easy to use.
