News - Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded Content Update, Download & Early Preview
Intro
Let's break down the MW3 season 1 reloaded update, what content we're getting for multiplayer zombies and War Zone free rewards, releasing new operators, and much more. Be sure to drop a like on the article.
Mw3 season 1 reloaded release date
If you go on to enjoy first up here, the release date of this midseason update is Wednesday, January 17th.
Of course, file sizes are to be determined, but they should be around 15 to 20 GB, maybe 25 GB max, which isn't too bad, but obviously in the past we've seen mid-season updates, up to 50 to 100 GB as long as we're nowhere near there. I'm completely fine with that, honestly. I'll give you guys more information as that gets revealed, and for a quick reminder, season 2 is expected to release on Wednesday, February 7th.
I'll be breaking down more season 2 content for this game in future articles, but for now, in season 1, we're getting a decent content offering across all the modes here.

We're getting at least one 6v6 map that they already confirmed; we saw a preview of it in the trailer; it's that Rio's map looks pretty solid; it looks like a standard midsize; the multiplayer map is nothing too crazy; and the colors are sick as well, almost giving me some trouble.
Vibe, so we'll see how it actually plays very soon based on what Sledgehammer has done so far with uniquely made MP. Maps meat and grease are honestly pretty good, so I'm expecting Rio to be pretty solid as well. Here's the description they give of the map, taking in the vibrant colors of Rio de Janeiro.
As you battle across an upscale shopping center, face enemies in tight quarters throughout the mall, or move through the vibrant exterior streets in this small to medium-sized map, look for vantage points in the covered walkway. Over the garage and on top of vehicles, spacing is tight, so be ready to engage.
Again, that's the only MP map they've confirmed so far, although we may get some surprises. Maps are returning; probably not new maps, but maybe some more carry forward. Maps Remember, for W2, maybe some more maps will be added to the gunfight playlist as well, but these maps are most likely going to just be for MW2. I doubt they're going to have another surprise uniquely made MP map, but you never know; we will see very soon what they end up adding, and for multiplayer as well, we're getting a pretty major update here with ranked play finally releasing.

War Zone ranked play is going to be released a bit later on, maybe season 2 or season 2 reloaded, but for season one reloaded, we're getting MP ranked play, so ranked play is a feature-packed standalone competitive MP mode that leverages the Call of Duty League approved rules restrictions, maps, and modes.
Track your standing with a visible skill rating and earn rewards across multiple skill divisions and tiers. The best of the best will be featured in the top 250 leaderboards. And division for the chance to prove themselves as the number one player. Look for further information, including the rewards for ranking up, in the following weeks, and we have some early previews of some of the rewards we're getting as well.
Here are some base-ranked play operators; we have the base one here, the veteran one, the gold one, and one for platinum. Diamond is pretty cool, crimson, and iridescent, and the top 250 have a very similar vibe to what we saw for MW2. I mean, if you guys played ranked play last year, it's going to be almost the exact same format for MW3, which isn't too bad.
Early preview of 12 new season 1 reloaded bundles!
Releasing a bit before, this season one reloaded update is on January 8th, and we're getting a bunch of the CDL team packs, which I'm pretty excited for. Of course, if you guys didn't know, I've been watching competitive Cod for over a decade now, and I've been sharing with you guys my pickems every week for the you know league matches.
I'm pretty excited to see some of these team packs released here, so to break them all down, we have some early previews here. The first one is the Atlanta Phase Operator Pack, which has a bunch of operator skins, a universal camo for each of these bundles, and some cosmetics, which is pretty cool.
Next one, the New York Subliners. We have the Vegas Legion here, the Minnesota rocker, the Seattle surge, and the Los Angeles thieves. Miami Heretics, the Toronto Ultra-Optic Texas. Boston Bruins, we have the Carolina Royal Ravens and the Los Angeles Gorillas here, so even if you don't watch the CDL, you're not a fan of any of the teams.
Some of the operators are pretty sick, like the Carolina skin, which is really cool. The Atlanta phase one as well pops, so if you guys just want some cool operator skins and a universal camo, maybe you could check that out and pick one up. We'll see very soon what they look like in the game, but based on these early images, they look pretty good.
Full ␜the boys␝ event preview: new operators & rewards
Now for some more stuff happening in MW3 and War Zone as well, we're getting a pretty big event here to start off the reloaded update on January 17th. It's going to be the boys event returning; we saw it last year; it's coming back again. We have a couple of early previews of what we're getting here.
First off, for the operators, we know we're getting a train and a firecracker; these will both be in separate operator bundles, which is pretty cool. We have a couple of the weapon blueprints we will be getting in these bundles as well, which all look really sick. I love the color scheme on these; the red and blue are pretty sick.
Overall, some come with tracers as well. We're also expecting to see The Operators from last year returning, as well as Starlite, Homelander, of course, and Black Noir, which are available to purchase again. These will be the exact same bundles, but you know you'll have another opportunity to get them if you didn't get them last year.
We have an early preview here of the homeland operator in MW3. Zombies, just show you guys that you know he's coming to the game. He looks pretty much the same, but it's just confirmation that he is returning in MW3, which most people are pretty excited about, and for this event as well, we're also getting that temp V LTM returning, which was pretty much a mode where you could use a bunch of different abilities if you find temp V syringes around the map and you get a random ability like homelanders laser, teleportation.
