Black Ops 4, where the entirety of the map buried by zombies was in blackout. There were obviously plans to do a Chronicles 2 or a round-base version of Buried for that game. Of course, we never saw it, but in this case with Verdansk, I'm sure they're going to have something up their sleeves, especially for the 20-year anniversary of.
Which version of verdansk is set to return?
Kod Now Rebirth and Fortune Keep are both releasing at some point in 2024, and it's going to be cool to see how those maps play with the MW3 movement. Fortune Keep is the most short-lived war zone map if you're not including Fortress, which was in for like a couple of weeks and got removed over in War Zone 2.
That map, I just cannot wait to see its return, and with rebirth, it's obviously a fan favorite, but for Dan, has it been a fan favorite too? And like I said in plenty of previous podcasts, now I don't really have an issue with Verdansk. I actually prefer Verdansk 8/4 from the Cold War life cycle.
I had the most fun with the red door and some of the map updates that we got during that Black Ops cycle, but if Forance comes back, I'm down for it. But let's not forget a lot of the hate that Rance G4 specifically got a couple of years ago. People out there were upset that it was just the reskin of the map we've already played, and it's the same old layout, same points of interest.
For the most part, people out there weren't happy with the Verdansk 84, so if we get, let's say, the Verdansk 94, During the next Black Ops cycle, I'm curious how that gets received. They'll probably just end up bringing Oger Dance back from the modern Warfare cycle since MW3 is currently in its prime.
That's likely what they'll do, but I just can't picture how that could release during the Black Ops integration. I just don't see them.
6 playable warzone maps at once in 2024
Waiting that long, if anything. I could see them doing it at some point in between the release of Fortune's keeping rebirth, but then you take a step back and you're like. Wait a second, are we about to have what five or six war zone maps playable at once? I mean, think about it.
Let's say Rance comes back at some point in, I don't know, March or April, and by that point, Fortune has already been added back in, then rebirth comes out shortly after that, closer to the end. Think about that: would we really end up having Ersan, Rebirth Fortune from Vondal Asika Island, and then Verdance?
I mean, maybe they'll take a note out of Apex's book and say, Let's just have multiple, and I mean multiple, maps on rotation. Who cares let's do it. In that case, sure, I'm down for it, but I almost can't see them doing that. Maybe they'll try something different this year, though, with the MW3 war zone integration that we just hadn't expected.
I mean, fine, let's see what they do with that. I mean, I could totally see Rebirth and Fortune cycling out of Ashika, or Vondo, maybe both. I could see that happening, but then you got to think about it: with Ersan being the new map for the MW3 cycle, how would that map be received once Ver Dan comes back? People out there even play ö.
How long will verdansk stay in warzone
Exan anymore that leads me to the next topic: what are the potential consequences of bringing veracity back? Is it a temporary or permanent add-on? Well, let's see what happens with the OG map in Fortnite, right? How temporary really is that map? Will they keep it longer than they've initially claimed?
I'm curious because with Fance now, you can keep it in for just one season, and people are going to be upset once you remove it, or maybe there's a pretty concrete plan to bring Verance back for a season or two, then rebirth comes out? That's in for a season or two, but I could really see them keeping rebirth in permanently for resurgence.
I just can't see Rance being permanent as the BR map, especially if Ukraine is still in its prime, and then you have TR working on a potential other war zone map that comes out in late 2024 or maybe early 2025. I could see Verance being more of a temporary add-on, but if the player numbers are high enough, that'll probably extend the amount of time that it's in the game for.
