News - Modern Warfare 3 Is Doing Something Crazy For The Very First Time. Carry Forward Maps From Warzone 2
Now this is, of course, a very big week. We're getting marketing nearly every single day for Modern Warfare.

I've been live streaming every single morning in the case that new marketing does, of course, release, and do be aware though that there are a lot of campaign spoilers floating around the internet because of the preload that has just gone live for Modern Warfare 3's campaign over on Battl Nets, and I believe the preload is going live later today for every other platform.
Be careful with spoilers right on Twitter on Reddits. Now I did post a recent article going over all the new campaign rewards that got revealed for Modern Warfare 3 as well as some other launch content that was put out via a new Call of Duty blog post. Also, don't forget tomorrow, which is Thursday, November 2nd.

But you guys are probably aware that the brand new Moder Warfare 3 control freaks just got revealed a couple of days ago.

I'm aware that some of the battle pass blueprints in season 6 did mention this event in Awenger, a city that was supposed to go live at around 8 last night on Halloween.
And what do you know? Like I predicted, this isn't actually an in-game event that gives you any rewards or anything; it's not season 6. Reloaded. The Haunting is season 6 reloaded, but Captain Price's Revenge did end up being something Infinity War did tweet the following: As of last night, we're celebrating Halloween with a big boost to the number of souls dropping in our Soul Capture collection event starting at 800 p.
M pacific last night earned more souls for the next 24 hours in all playlists on Alaza KN. We're doubling the match cap and doubling the number of souls dropped by OP operators, so this is exclusive to just War Zone and will not be applied to Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. But at least something did get dropped in anticipation for whatever Captain Price's Revenge actually was, like I mentioned before.
It just seemed like some type of in-game lore to go along with the Halloween event, something fun to fit the in-game alaz. Night experience, but hopefully this helps you earn the brand new ghouly animated camo, which of course could be carried forward into Modern Warfare 3 and will be usable on all Modern Warfare 2 weapons inside.
First look at mw3 season 1 blackcell skin??
Of Modern Warfare 3, we might have also gotten our first look at Moder Warfare 3's season one black cell skin and our brand new lockpick PlayStation exclusive article, so as you guys can go ahead and see, we could see our exclusive lockpick operator.
Killing what appears to be black cell skin. I'm assuming that could be our new black cell look for MW3, season 1. We might still get that black and gold theme for black cells inside of Modern Warfare 3, which I hope isn't the case for every season. Maybe just for season one, that's cool, but for every season after that, let's see a nice variation of black.
Let's get some blue and gold or red and gold and a bunch of other colors in there so it's not too repetitive.
Maps will carry forward into mw3. woah
With every single black cell bundle, now I posted a recent article. I think it was yesterday morning, talking all about carry forward in Moder Warfare 3 and all the new updates in regards to what is transferring.
And what isn't funny enough at the very end of that article is that I did mention that there was a rumor about a year ago that apparently Maps or Modern Warfare 2 were going to transfer into Modern Warfare 3. I brought that rumor up and was very doubtful that rumor would end up being true, and what do you know as of yesterday that rumor did become a reality, so a bit of a correction to the end of that article?
If you guys did sit through that all the way through. I posted an article over on Detonated talking more about this as well, but here's what's going on now: we got a brand new Cod blog talking a little bit about our launch content campaign rewards, so on and so forth, but there was a second blog post that got revealed, in regards to specifically what we're going to be seeing in multiplayer. Day one, we're talking about map modes and future content throughout the live seasons, but before we jump into.
4 major mw3 announcements coming soon
I do want to emphasize that there's at least four other massive blog posts still on the way detailing other information about Modern Warfare 3. It's unclear if these will be released in the following order, but these can come out at any point from later today until next Thursday, so we have one that's going to be talking about loadouts in multiplayer and War Zone zombies.
We're talking equipment, vests, tacticals, and lethals. Field upgrades kill streaks even more. In another blog post about Your Arsenal, specifically primary and secondary weapons for both multiplayer and Modern Warfare Zombies, they're going to be going over weapon balancing and the Modern Warfare 2 carry forward weapon feature.
Gunsmith receiving a statistical overhaul, so on and so forth, that'll be really important, but then the one that I'm looking forward to probably the most here is the cosmetic customization blog post in regards to weapon camos. We're talking about all types of camo progression in multiplayer and Modern Warfare Zombies.
As I said, could this be the biggest weapon progression feature in Call of Duty history? We detail the immense multiplayer and zombie camo challenge and weapon mastery system for your MW2. And 3 Arsenal, and lastly, there's going to be a blog post talking just about Modern Warfare zombies and a bit of a launch content overview.
