News - First Look Warzone 2 Warhammer 40k Crossover Event. Operators, Riot Shield Blueprint, Finishers & More
Mw3 x warhammer 40k crossover event revealed!
Welcome back to a brand new article today. What we have is our first early look at the Call of Duty and Warhammer 40K crossover. We got in-game footage showcasing all the brand new content and what to expect from it, as well as all the leaks that we have so far with the brand new season 2 update.

Mw3 warhammer 40k operators, ltm mode, & event leaked
A couple weeks ago, we talked about a crossover coming into Call of Duty in the season 2 update, and that was with Warhammer 40K.
First off, I also want to apologize to all the Warhammer 4K fans. I am not very familiar with this, so I'm probably going to get a lot of the lore of the story and some of that stuff completely wrong, so I do apologize in advance, but from my understanding. Warhammer 4K started off as a miniature board game like a war game type of thing, and then it slowly expanded.
I believe they dropped books on it. There were also different types of story lines and different factions, and it just expanded into an entire universe. I believe they also have games anyway. Sometime during the season 1 update, leakers found references that Call of Duty and Warhammer were going to have a big crossover collaboration that would include event operator skins, rewards, and challenges.
Those are the types of things that you see with typical crossovers that we get every single season, and this is just a quick rundown of the leaks that we found at that time. So there was a brand new loading screen. We thought it would probably be bringing in an operator skin, but the loading screen features art of the Dark Angels at the Battle of Pacina.
This is what it looks like, and then the leaker said. Okay, this might reference a prime Arc of Dark Angels. Interrogator, and Chaplain Boris being one of the first operators coming in for this crossover event, and that was a loading screen that was found in the files. Then, for the second one, we found another one, and that is going to be Hell Wise, which is going to be one of the battle sisters.
It says this information comes from this loading screen, which is the official cover art for the book Pilgrims of Fire. And this is what it looks like, and then that teases that we could get a sister of battle operator, skin, because this loading screen was also in the files. Usually, when they add loading screens like these, they're tied to some sort of operator bundle.
At the time, we didn't really have any operator skins or anything like that was revealed; it was just those loading screens, and then we got an event mode. It says the Warhammer crossover will come in with an event mode, and these are the medals that were actually leaked for this. I don't think most of these were even added to, like Hord Point or any other mode, so they're still not yet in the game, and that could indicate that these are being saved for this brand new Warhammer crossover.
Event And then finally, he also mentioned that there were strings in the files that mentioned a buzzsaw was coming in, so basically a chainsaw and a sword. And that is definitely one of the items that I believe are ultramarines. If I'm not wrong, we actually do have a finishing move for that, which I'll get to in just a second, but these are all the leaks that we got during the season 1 update.
Mw3 warhammer crossover is massive
Now, when season 2 came around in the blog post, we were expecting some sort of announcement. They usually tell you about the upcoming events that are coming; they show them on the road map.
In this case, they did not show anything in regards to Warhammer. Now, there could be two things. One, this event might be so massive that they need to make their own separate blog post for it, meaning that they need to create a new entire road map for season 2 reloaded, which we have seen in the past in Call of Duty title updates where they would create a new road map artwork photo for a mid-season update.
For example, we saw that the boys reloaded and updated a couple seasons back in MW2. They might be doing the same exact thing for the Warhammer event because they never mentioned it, but we got a little bit more information in the files they've actually continuously kept adding, and it's confirmed to us that this event will indeed be happening, and here's the first thing that we ended up getting.
First look warhammer riot shield weapon blueprint
This is a first look at a riot shield weapon blueprint that we are getting for the first time ever in Modern Warfare 3. I believe we saw a rill blueprint in War Zone 1, but this is the first time we are getting it in War Zone 2. I'm not entirely sure which faction or operator this will belong to, but this is going to be something that they're probably going to try to sell you if you're familiar with Warhammer.
First look ultramarine & blood angel cosmetics
Of the Ultra Marines and then a Showcase of the Blood Marines, he found the textures of them in the files and was able to equip them, so there's no mods or any sort of unlock tools or anything being used here; these are actual legitimate things that were found in the files of Call of Duty, and that sort of confirms even more for us that this event will indeed be happening.
One thing that I want to confirm is that this is a little bit of bad news, but these are not operator skins, so if you're looking at them right now, they look really good. Call of Duty definitely outdid themselves, but these are not going to be some upcoming operator skins; they will be in the store, but these are going to be Juggernaut.
Outfits. Very similar to the Lunar New Year full kit bundle where they were selling you the Wilson kill streak as a weapon blueprint, they also had something like the shock stick, and they turned all those into blueprints. It's looking the same way here: these are going to be Juggernaut outfits that are turned into blueprints, probably going to be sold in the store.
I don't think they would put in all this effort just to let you use them for a limited time in a mode, so they're probably going to try to sell them to you in some sort of way.
Chainsword weapon blueprint & new finishing moves
This doesn't mean that the Ultramarine is not going to be an operator skin because, if you guys recall, we did talk about how is a finishing move, so that brings us onto the next topic, and there is a chainsword, a weapon blueprint, apparently, and that's also going to be a part of a finishing move.
And this is one of the finishing moves that could be related to an operator or could be a free reward. We have no idea as of right now because it's so early to tell. As we get more title updates, we will get more information. As of right now, in terms of the release date, we don't have a release date.
