News - Easy "the Haunting" Event Guide. All 6 Monster Guides & New "bloody Mess" Blueprint Reward (warzone 2)

cod the haunting

Here in Modern Warfare 2 in DMZ as well as War Zone, there are going to be six monsters who need to lay to rest, and if you do five of them, you'll get access to this weapon blueprint you're seeing on your screen right now, the bloody mess bass P, which actually is a very good blueprint and also looks pretty damn good, especially when you're playing on a darker map where the blood effects have a chance to actually start to shine a little bit.

It definitely looks pretty good. A lot of people are trying to get this blueprint right now. This is going to be a quick guide as to how to kill all six monsters and do all six challenges relatively easily, barring the other people in your lobby that may or may not be messing with you.

The butcher

The butcher

First things first : we have the butcher. The butcher can actually be found at a number of different locations throughout the map; you're going to have to zoom in on your map once you load into the war zone, or DMZ, and find the butcher icon, then head over to that area. Once you get there, you're going to find the angels of Lilith.

In here, you're going to have to go through and activate each alter, one by one. Every time you do that, it's going to take a little bit of time for the bar to fill up, and there's also going to be a bunch of zombies that spawn, as well as. I'm sure, enemy players also showing up because they also want to do the challenge.

It's going to get pretty damn hectic; it's going to get pretty chaotic, but after you eventually get all the alters activated, you can then jump through the nightmare portal and fight the butcher himself. Down in hell, and all you have to do is hurt the butcher. If the butcher eventually dies, you will get credit, but the butcher himself is going to be surrounded by tons of zombies. I'm sure there's going to be plenty of enemy players there; it's going to be chaotic; it's going to be nonsense, so get down there and just hurt the butcher a little bit so that way if your team ends up getting killed or other people show up or whatever, if the butcher dies and you do damage to him, you will get credit, and the challenge will be completed.

Swamp creature

Swamp creature

Next up, we have the swamp monster, who is always going to spawn in the marshlands. Make your way to the map, and in here, you're going to have to search through the swamp and open up these egg pods that can be found all around. The item that you're looking for is going to be a tiara. If you find the tiara, go to the middle of the swamp, as you can see, and then activate it, which is going to summon the swamp creature for me.

The pharaoh

modern warfare 2

I had three swamp creatures that appeared they're basically just really bulky zombies don't let them get too close to you because I'm assuming they would kill you but if you played zombies before just train them around the island keep shooting at them then eventually they die and then you get credit for doing that challenge, next up we have the pharaoh who is going to be found in the Oasis part of the map here it's actually kind of interesting there's going to be these different colored zombies throughout the entire area now what you're looking for are going to be the zombies that have a pink face because when you kill them you can grab their skulls and then run up to the pharaoh's sarcophagus.

And place the skulls there. Once you fill up the entire area with nothing but those pink skulls, it's going to awaken the pharaoh, and then you have to kill them just like the butcher. However, if the Pharaoh kills you or whatever and someone else kills them, that's fine, as long as you do damage, but don't let the Pharaoh get too close to you because what happened to me is that I just really wasn't paying attention.

You know, I ran out of ammo on my rifle. I pulled out my sniper rifle, and the Pharaoh got a little bit close to me, and then the Pharaoh executed me. And even though I died right here, somebody else came in and killed the pharaoh, and as a result, I got credit. You can definitely do this on your own; you can definitely do it solo. Just don't let the Pharaoh get too close to you because they will execute you, so maybe think about bringing a self-revive kit if you have the ability to.

Ufo

Ufo

Next up, we have the UFO. This is by far the most annoying challenge for me personally. It's always going to spawn at the Saah village; however, you pronounce that at the very bottom of the map.

So what happens is that when the UFO spawns, there's going to be these three balls in the sky—these three blue balls—that will shoot at you, and you have to destroy all three of them. Basically, just destroy all three of them, and then after that, that is going to summon in the actual UFO itself.

Now the UFO is also going to try to kill you, so be careful. Don't stand in the open. Always have cover around because it's going to try to beam at you. And eventually, after enough time and enough damage, you can take out the UFO. Once you do that, the artifact will spawn after the UFO and then start floating down to a seemingly random place in the area.

modern warfare iii

You pick up the artifact, and then you run it down towards the ocean. The ocean is now moved, essentially like all the water has been moved out of it; it's part of the anomaly of the area. And then you run up to the ship, get to the very top of the ship, place the artifact in the portal, and then the UFO challenge will be completed.

This one was by far the most annoying challenge to do solely for the fact that people are just in both the war zone and the DMZ; they're always trying to kill you instead of everyone just working together to do the damn challenge, so my advice. When you're doing this, just go do something else for the first bit, especially when you're playing DMZ.

Hell, just go lay in the bush for the first 20 minutes or so and go like browse YouTube on your phone or something like that and wait for the lobby to be around for a while that way other people that are trying to do the challenges they may just go and do them and then they may just back out or they may xfill or whatever, just wait a bunch of time, and hopefully a bunch of people will already be gone from the lobby, and you won't have nearly as much competition for the UFO.

And then you can just show up and do it without having to deal with other players. That's the best advice I can give you on that, and honestly, it's pretty true of all the different challenges here, because right now, I mean the Cod Community. A bunch of us are trying to do the same challenges together, but everyone has to kill each other instead of just making the challenges simple.

That's just kind of how things go. Next up, we have the ghost train.
