Welcome back to a brand new article. Today we're going to go over the brand new 420 event that's going to be launching this coming Wednesday. We have early gameplay showcasing all the different rewards. I did post a article yesterday going over the secret daily login rewards that are now available in the war zone.
I show you guys all the rewards that you'll be able to get, how you can actually claim them, and everything that you need to know about them.
New solar eclipse event in warzone
Anyway, let's jump into it. Apparently there's a secret solar eclipse event happening right now in the war zone. As you guys know, today a solar eclipse is set to happen in the United States.
Depending on what state you're in and what time zone you're in, you're going to be able to see a solar eclipse at a particular time. It looks like Call of Duty is celebrating that by adding its own solar eclipse. Over on Rebirth Island, and this is just a little short clip of some streamers reporting that there's actually one happening, and then it also turns the map a little bit darker for a little bit, and this is just a showcase.
I'm not exactly sure what triggers this event—if it randomly happens while you are playing or if it just happens in the same time zone that an eclipse should be happening for you. I'm not entirely sure what's triggering this, but it should be happening for the majority of people today, so if you want to go and get on the game, you may end up noticing something like that.
You don't get any reward or anything like that for viewing it.
New blaze up event & huge content update this week
It's just something cool that Call of Duty has decided to do since the season 3 update started. But what if I told you guys that I have a solution to all those problems, and that is Lago? High trip: this is basically the 420 event that we're waiting for, but for some reason they're doing it 10 days earlier. You see that in the countdown timer for the battle pass, the actual event timer says under one day remaining, and then there's also a new mode coming up this upcoming Wednesday, which is going to be 24/7, and that's probably going to be a part of it because that's like a whole farm that has to do with this event, but on.
Stoney sloth tracer pack early gameplay showcase
On top of that, you can expect a new set of operator skins, and let me go ahead and show you guys the gameplay showcasing the first pack, which is going to be called Tracer Pack. Stony Sloth, this will cost $2,400. Cod points out that it brings in the feeling of slothy operator skin for Captain Price.
This is what he will look like. Following that, you get two different weapon blueprints. The first one is called the high hitter; this comes in for the WSP. Swarm; it does have tracers and a death effect called the Blaze Tracers and the Bing Bong Youdong Dismemberment, which basically turns them into a bong, as you can see here; and then the second one is called the Tok and Smoke for the XRK stalker; same exact trace arounds and death effects; and this is what the weapon blueprint will look like.
also credit to Austin 6 for this footage, then you have the leafy greens large decal, and that's just yeah, you can see what that is, and then you have following that a weapon sticker; this one's called The Slow Rolling, and then you have a weapon charm said letter rip, then you have the slow and unsteady emblem, which is going to be animated, and then finally you have a 1H hour double battle pass XP token. You probably expect this to drop, whether it's a day before the event or on the actual day of the event itself.
Cheech & chong tracer pack early gameplay showcase
The next bundle associated with 420 coming in is going to be the Tracer pack Cheich and Chong. The first operator is going to be Cheich. This is what he looks like. Following that, you're also going to be able to get Chong, and that's what he looks like.
This bundle also comes with three different weapon blueprints. The first one's for the MTZ, 556, called the Daniss, with a tracer pack and a death effect. The Tracer pack is called the pain puff tracers, and then the death effect is called double doobie dismemberment, which actually turns your enemies into a joint.
Following that, you have the HRM 9 weapon blueprint called the hash sassin, and this also has the same exact tracer and effect, but the coloration is a little bit different. The third weapon blueprint is for the hay maker called Mellow and Wild. The same exact effects just look a little bit different, and then you have a brand new finishing move, and the rest of the bundle will consist of two large decals and a brand new weapon sticker, one or two weapon charms, and a loading screen.
This bundle is going to cost you 3, 000, Cod points total, and these are the operators you can expect to release during that time. Let's talk about the actual event itself and the new content.
High trip resurgence mode explained & showcase
The very first thing is that for the war , you're receiving a brand new limited-time mode called High Trip Resurgence. This is the actual early photo that we have of this; this is what the actual loading screen will look like once the event goes live. It will say Rebirth Island High Trip Resurgence.
