News - Warzone: Surprise Free Update Revealed. Warzone 2 New Update

And then, in addition to that, like I mentioned, we do have a couple of new updates or new details on future updates via the Cod Updates Twitter account, and with this, they mentioned that back at the start of season 1, they were actively investigating a bunch of crashing issues for Modern Warfare Zombies, where you would load into the game if you crashed.
Obviously, it's super rough, with zombies in particular. Obviously, it sucks to crash mid-multiplayer or mid-war zone as well, but in zombies, you lose all your stuff for that game, so you lose your stash, you lose your inventory, and you're insured a weapon slot for the countdown there, so that all sucks, but they did say as of yesterday.
Modern Warfare Zombies, a previously mentioned PC crash fix, was released on December 11th, at around 9:00 a.m. Pacific time, so this update should now be live, specifically for zombies. After yesterday's update, you should now be experiencing fewer crashes. This is not to say you'll never crash ever again in zombies or in MW3 or War Zone, for that matter, but at least they did go through and fix whatever the crashing issue was that was causing it to happen more often.
Post-season 1 update in general: MW3 and War Zone definitely need a lot of stability updates post-season 1. I'm still crashing way more now than I was before the season dropped, so hopefully that does get fixed and we can ideally start to build in some counters so that if you do crash in Zombies, it doesn't penalize you by destroying your stash and all your stuff that you picked up and earned that game because that's obviously a huge drawback of crashing when it's not even your fault that the game is not fully optimized.
And then they also did an update yesterday afternoon, saying for war zone specifically, they were investigating an issue causing players to not receive cash for equipped goog tokens when the goog closes, so this is obviously a nice way to get some extra cash late game. If you have a token on you when the goog closes, it's supposed to give you a couple thousand dollars like in previous iterations, but that's not currently happening, so you just end up wasting those extra goog tokens.
So that's a bit of a bummer, but they are looking into this, and that'll be updated there soon.
