News - Treyarch Left Warzone 2 Zombies
Treyarch is no longer working on Modern Warfare zombies, and they actually haven't been working on Modern Warfare zombies for quite some time. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, in today's article. I'm going to be going over where they are and why this is both a good and a bad thing, but also a very confusing thing, and you also might be wondering, well, who is working on Modern Warfare Zombies, because of the way it seems.
Nobody, because the season 2 launch is quite underwhelming. To the point of just no Conta from zombies that's probably not true we're probably going to see something here and there like little hints but there seems to be High Moon Studios and a mixture of Infinity Ward working on zombies, now I'm not going to say anything bad because clearly those Studios do have developers that are just as probably motivated as Treyarch are just because some Treyarch developers are working on zombies it all really matters on who is in charge so I'm not going to say because High Moon Studios, and Infinity Ward are working on it it's doomed it's probably the main reason why we're seeing such a lack of content with season 2 launch and probably why a lot of it is coming in season because well I feel like they don't have that much time to work on it considering this feels very much like a really big work in progress and the main reason why I think it's very confusing is because TR themselves told content creators back before the game launched they will take into consideration.
Implementing a more solo-friendly experience for Modern Warfare Zombies, unless they counted the dog as a friendly experience, which if that's the case, that's a bit of a weird one because I don't think that's very solo-friendly if anything. I never really used the dog, and I don't think anyone uses the dog inside of Modern Warfare Zombies, but also on top of that, they said that they might take that into consideration when doing a round-based insider model for zombies, and unless High Moon Studios and Infinity Ward are cooking up that right now in the background.
I don't think that's a very big possibility. I think the main reason it's just confusing is: Why do you say one thing? And yes, we're only in February, but right now, from the way I am going to guess it's going to go, it might not be happening. Well, I'm not saying that we won't see good content updates.
I think there's still going to be some interesting stuff here and there, and I highly doubt that Activision will allow one of their best third-game modes to just die completely, and it shows because season 2 reloaded will be extremely zombies. Content like Mon for Zombies season 2 overall is zombie themed, and I still cannot comprehend that they're releasing a whole battle pass and season overall.
Zombies themed, but they're not actually giving models for zombies any actual announcement. Content—it's very weird. It's a very weird time to be a zombie. It's actually been a very weird time being a zombie fan ever since Vanguard came out. It's just confusing times, but another thing is, why is this a bad thing?
Well, I kind of also combined that with the confusion. It's because TR isn't working on it; they said some stuff that they would do, and I had a lot of trust in it, and now I'm kind of like, Will it happen? Will there be a lot of content? Will every midseason be the content launch? Because you know they have the perfect amount of time to work on it.
Is there an inconsistency? Now, and also, a really bad thing is that they set up a lot of expectations. With season 1, specifically, the launch of season 1 was insane. Easter egg, new location, Red War Boss fights a bunch of schematics from season 1 reloaded. Here's a warlord. It started becoming concerning.
I was like, Nope, definitely season 2 will be good, and season 2 has nothing again from the way it seems until season 2 is reloaded. Yeah, but the biggest point of it all is that this is actually a really good thing, and I know a lot of people are going to say the same thing that I've already seen in my most recent article: going after Treyarch, giving up on Treyarch, giving up on zombies.
You have every right to give up on zombies. You have every right to give up on Treyarch, but the company that probably does this mostly, as in, the main one in charge, is clearly Activision, which makes these choices and decisions. The really good thing about it is that TR finally has the ability to go work on COD 2024.
Because that's what they are doing, the reason they left Modern Warfare Zombies is to fully put in concentration, into their Zombies mode, and probably a bit of multiplayer, and whatever else the team at that like ction that work tomor for zombies is doing right now, and I think that is good because of Cod 2024.
I will say it, and I've been saying it ever since the Cold War came out. It is going to be amazing. As much as we hate that track is being thrown around from Call of Duty to Call of Duty to work on rank to work on that from the way it seems and the way Lakers are saying things, they are more than prepared, right now obviously bringing over devs, from one thing back to C 2024.
It's just because a game isn't always entirely polished, and who knows, they're probably already working on future DLCs. From the way it seems Cod 2025 is actually going to be Black Ops 2 remastered, in some way, remade, or like a reimagination, which is more of like this Modern Warfare 3 idea where we had Modern Warfare 2 and then Modern Warfare 3, so they're cooking.
I know they are cooking. Tra is a very trustworthy company if it is treated correctly by Activision. The last good Call of Duty they've really had was Black Ops 3, which was fully polished. Then we had the incident of Black Ops 4 coming out during the craze of Battle Royal, with a lot of cuts here and there specifically on the zombies campaign being removed, everyone being tossed around, a lot of money being lost, and a lot of money being put into places it really shouldn't have, and then you had Cold War, which was really a game that was again in a similar situation.
Let's throw you at this: do something that Sled Hammer is already making, and you know what? I think they did a pretty good job; it felt very like OG Call of Duty style, and now, ever since Cold War. TR has actually been making their own Call of Duty straight from the beginning till the very end, and they will not be abandoning it because it's their year; it is going to be their complete year, and in my opinion.
Track is the only good company, as much as you might disagree with me. Infinity Ward, say what you want, but I saw what happened with Modern Warfare 2. It was a messy situation, Sidehammer. I love sidehammer games and stuff like that, but they did also make Vanguard, for some odd reason, a World War II game.
