News - This Warzone 2 Event Is A Little Problematic

12 million XP is a lot of XP. Like we mentioned, anywhere from that window of like 8 to 9 hours of play to around 30 hours of play time. I'd say realistically, you're probably not going to spend 30 hours of play time just doing this event. I'd probably say the more accurate Windows is anywhere from eight hours to maybe 14 to 15 on average. You can probably do it faster, and of course you can absolutely do it slower, but I'd say that's probably a more accurate window of what to expect in terms of playtime if you haven't started this at all, but again.

My issues with the event as it currently exists in modern warfare 3.

My issues with the event as it currently exists in modern warfare 3.

That's where my problem with it lies, and how I don't know how I feel about this lies taking myself out of the equation for this, like I'll be the first to tell you I love these events.

Any new camo event that comes along in Modern Warfare 3 so far, I'm going to do it. That's what I've said for years now: you give me something like a universal camo, something tangible, that I can use my play time to earn. I'm coming back every single time. I don't care about a rank reset every single season or anything like that, but if you give me something that is earnable and that I can use for the entire year, hell yeah, I'm there.

That's the way that you get me to increase my play time, removing my bias and my love for these kinds of things out of the way. My problem is that a lot of people will not have the play time that is required of them to grind this out. For the average player, it's probably a coin toss if they end up getting this or not.

If you ask me, I get that you want to introduce this level of a limited edition to it, but I also feel like this is a little tough for the casual player. I played a few hours of zombies a night for like four or five nights of the past week, and I grinded out the final like 250, 000, XP or so in lockdown quads today, and it still took me that long.

Now I wasn't trying to breathe through this like I would with others, so I was sure I could have done it quicker, but it still took me someone who plays hours a day a week to do it. What about the people that only play on weekends and only have five to 10 hours of disposable time to play these games in those two weeks?

They mathematically don't have the time to complete that, so I feel like right now it's kind of a matter of finding a balance of how much is required for that allotted XP that has to be earned to incentivize. Play time versus the amount of play time allotted to get that amount of XP. I feel like right now that's just too slim a margin, maybe at least in my mind.

Why do I see it? I think if you added this for maybe 3 weeks, hell, maybe even 2 and a half, I think it'd be way easier to manage for a casual player. I just think the bugged amount of XP that we had that first day or two was the haved amount. I feel like that would have been just fine. So for me, that was my big complaint here at this event, and the reason that I was a little.

I don't want to say jaded by it, but it was just one of those things that I just felt a little weird about during the entire duration of it, if that makes sense. I don't know; maybe I'm entirely off base here with this, but I just wanted to talk to you guys here about this and engage your thoughts and feedback on it.

What do you guys think of the event here itself? Do you think that it is the proper amount of XP versus time? Do you think there's a good balance here with this? Am I just entirely off base and thinking that maybe the casual player doesn't have enough time? Maybe they do.
