News - Warzone 2 Season 2: 25 Things You Need To Know Before Launch
When does season 2 start for modern warfare 3 & warzone
M pacific 10 Mountain 11 Central noon Eastern here in North America, elsewhere in the world, that equates out to relatively 5:00 p. m., in the UK, 600 p. m., in Berlin, 800 p. m., in Moscow 2: a. In Soul, South Korea, 4:00 a.m. In and Sydney, so if you're anywhere other than those time zones, you can probably use those as a better marker as opposed to trying to figure out well how much a conversion will be from like 6 to 10 hours ahead of North America.
Can you pre-load modern warfare 3 season 2?
So anyway, hopefully that should help you out in allowing you to know when you can jump into it and as for a preload something that will definitively let you jump right into it as soon as the update goes out, is it something you can preload and get that done right now so you're just waiting on the time gate to lift as of recording this banet has actually had a preload but not Playstation? Or Xbox which is kind of odd since PlayStation usually has a reload available or made available around 24 hours before the updates but it's also not out of the ordinary per se and not something we've never seen because we have seen, a couple of times since the Moder Warfare 3 betas that B's actually gotten preloads ahead of everything else so be on the lookout for that on Playstation, probably about as of tomorrow around noon Eastern, that it could potentially roll out but at least on bnet there's already been one that you can get ahead of the curve here with the final thing I'll say in terms of like prepping for season 2 here is that it's actually a last call for season 1 items obviously of course you want to make sure you finish your battle pass if you're at all interested in that kind of stuff you want to make sure you finish off that final the boys event, right now where you can end up getting the blueprint for the TAC Eradicator.
Things you need to do before modern warfare 3 season 2
So if you guys want to do that of course make sure you do that with the a lot of time still available here for you, but anyways jumping into season 2 and the content to expect and the changes beyond that some of this stuff is going to be stuff we've already touched on individually, but again just for the sake of having everything, all in one place all in one article all in the same discussion, we're just running down everything here at this so multiplayer as a refresh you're going to see the maps of Departures which is a larger 6v6 map Stash House which is a smaller 6v6 map but also in 2v2 play according to the blog post Vista is a medium-sized, 6v6 map and dos house is returning within midseason.
The new modern warfare 3 season 2 multiplayer content
As a 6v6 map as well kind of reimagined, in that regard where it's not going to be the exact same Doss house you remember presumably no destruction because we don't see that obviously within Modern Warfare 3 but also overall it's a different aesthetic as well it's an urban Penthouse style building so that's something that'll be a Cool change of pace on that but then we also have variants incoming with midseason of Airborne a variant of terminal which looks overrun by Locust and other spores and bugs, as well as skid grow which is a mid-season map again variant of skidrow just overgrown with foliage leaves and all that kind of stuff so adjustments, there for multiplayer and then translating also into war zone we'll have the bp50.
Ram 9 SOA subverter and the soul render as our new weapons, the BP50 and RAM 9 both being in the battle pass, and the S SOA subverter and soul render stated as coming. In season, they haven't been detailed as midseason, so it's possible maybe those come before the mid-season update. Maybe we get more as of the season two loaded update, but right now.
I'm kind of expecting that to be the only thing, just to temper my expectations. But anyway, four new weapons are at least coming here within season 2. The battle pass has already been previewed, where we can take a look at some of the stuff at the top-down level in regards to the battle map and the sectors here that we have.
Of course, we of course do know that if you end up buying the battle pass, you'll get instant access to Kate Lwell as a new operator. Rick from The Walking Dead, so you're going to have that crossover as a more thematic thing here and embedded at the base of season 2, as opposed to just like an event where a couple of bundles come along and you get maybe an XP event or something like that.
This is a little bit deeper than that, similar to what we saw with the spawn integration. And crossover in season 6 of Modern Warfare 2, now in the modes we'll see Team Gunfight Sniper's only hord point, which is zombies, and hardpoint, something we've seen in Call of Duty: World War II, a very fun mode back then.
I'm hoping that it can translate well here into modern warfare, especially with the matchmaking systems we have right now that were different back then. We have Jugger MOS, which is a juggernaut. Everybody is on the Juggernaut playlist, which is interesting. Bounty and then another playlist of decay's Realm which is going to see The Return of tetanus Satan's Quarry and spard from last season or rather this season's Vortex event but also then with the new maps of skid grow and Airborne variants introduced as well so you have five different maps in that sort of decay's Realm playlist, similar to what we've seen with that Vortex style playlist earlier in this season I'm curious if we'll ever see these added to just the regular quick play and regular modes or if we'll see them come and go as that Vortex style playlist each season perhaps with more added into it if that's the case and we still keep getting variants here of these Maps it is something that allows them to be played again instead of just being oneoff like we kind of thought they would be when we saw the introduction of tetanus Satan's Quarry and spard, in season 1 but at the same time you're still not getting a whole ton of use out of them if they're not being played in the regular rotation.
But anyway, those are the modes here that we know of within season 2, operators again. We have Kate Lwell and Rick coming, you'll have the John Doe black cell operator, you'll have Michonne coming in season, and you have a couple of things coming that may introduce some operators here, with another Dune Part 2 event coming in season as well.
