At this point, you'll immediately want to hit alt-f4 or close out of your application on the console. When you boot back into the main menu, you will see that all of the items that you filled with are going to be safe in your stash, ready for removal. And when you boot back into the game, you will notice that your screen will freeze, and you won't be able to move.
I'm assuming that the Tombstone glitch going into the dark ether simply eliminates the cut scene at the start when you drop in, but just wait a few seconds and you'll be able to move around if done successfully. You will also notice that just where we went down previously, the tombstone stash is still present with all of the money and the items that you had when you went down.
