Season 3 disappointing for zombies but cooking for multiplayer (the irony)
season 3's road map for Modern Warfare 3 and War Zone was released yesterday of course the season is going to be launching, next week on the 3D of April however like we all expected if you are a zombies fan you are going to have to wait an additional month because we are not getting literally any content until the reloaded midseason update just like was the case with season 2 and this was previously leaked and it seems like this is going to be the case for all future Seasons as well I did talk about in my prior article where I went over of the leaks and rumors for this season that I was praying, that this is going to change due to the backlash they received from season 2 but apparently they're just not listening at all I don't really know why this is the case and it really is unfortunate that Modern Warfare 3 zombies has been shafted so much so and even the reloaded update itself has very minimal content and the problem is that multiplayer, is actually cooking, this season, unironically.
We are getting literally six new multiplayer maps. Sledgehammer Games is doing its bit. Of course, the game just launched with reused content, so it's good that they're trying to make up for it in the post-launch, with War Zones being substantially different and supported as well, so it's really just zombie fans that are unfortunately being left out again.
Of course, we've had rumors that many of the developers have had to work on COD 2024 instead, so they're mainly focusing on that, so probably all of the content that we're going to be seeing in all of the future seasons is stuff that was predetermined. A new warlord, and that's basically it, and again, there's still no word on a stash increase as well, so they're probably not going to change the stash. I'm guessing they would have to rework a lot of the systems if they were to do that because they want it balanced apparently, but that's definitely a big reason as to why the mode is dying, but before I get into all of the zombies content , there is actually stuff for zombies fans once again, unfortunately in the other aspects of the mode because over on Zikan.
More zombies bunkers coming to warzone & zombies event
They will be opening up all of the bunkers, as you know in season 2 they actually opened up bunker 5 and within it are cryogenic chambers, which are housing, zombies that are being experimented on I'm not exactly sure how this ties into the story line but this is probably leading up to some sort of live event or teasers, for Black Ops golf Wars zombies I'm guessing that's probably why however apparently all of the other bunkers are also going to be opening up with this season 3 update so are they all going to be containing these Chambers, with zombies within are there going to be some Easter eggs pertaining to zombies within them also the zombies could break out these Chambers maybe there's going to be zombie sections within each of these bunkers.
And kind of similar to what we had in Blackout back in the day where we had the zombie areas, and I'm really excited to see how this ties into the story line because someone is experimenting on these zombies, maybe to harness dark powers or something like that. I've speculated that maybe this could be Rick Toofs doing it or someone else; we're not exactly sure why, but I'm excited to see how this plays out in the future.
Of course, this is all stuff set after the events of R Warfare 3 zombies since that's a prequel in 2021; these events are taking place in 2024. Real time in war zone so it's probably long after that storyline has concluded meaning that we probably managed to successfully stop the zombie outbreak on ekhan, but someone has kept them in these Chambers after those events and I'm so excited to see how that ties into things in the future it's probably going to tie into C 2025 zombies rumored to be a Black Ops 2 sequel somehow so that's one thing for zombies fans to look out for that's not within the Zombies mode itself, and the other thing is regarding the vortex mode of course we have the zombified versions of multiplayer maps and I really hope that these Maps get reused in the future for some sort of onsa mode maybe we will have to wait until Cod 2024 zombies to actually see them because we haven't seen them at all implemented, in the Zombies mode itself, so far and it doesn't look like they're going to be coming at all but now that we have the unified Cod HQ engine the maps can easily transfer between the different games so they can be in COD 2024, at ease anyways there's going to be an event later in the season called Vortex.
New godzilla vs kong battle for hollow earth event
Versus a play on words of virus, main frame it's not System error virus has made its way into the Vortex earn XP to unlock rewards equip the backless skin for the Tracer pack horsman virus Ultra skin for a boost there also going to be some new Godzilla and Kong bundles coming to the store of course we have the Godzilla versus Kong event within Vanguard and I thought that was actually really good in war zone but there is going to be another event pertaining to Godzilla coming at l called the battle for Hollow Earth, discover the mysterious power of the monster versus mightiest Titans earn XP to unlock exceptional rewards equip the Godzilla Kong shimo and Scar King operator skins for a boost now we're not sure what the event is going to entail it could just be a basic thing to earn XP and rewards, and that's it we don't actually know if Godzilla and Kong are going to physically show up in war zone or Modern Warfare 3 like they did in Vanguard.
For example, they could show up on Rebirth Island, and I hope that they do have some sort of mode for this event with them because I really enjoyed the last one of those. Some people were critical of it, but I thought that it was so much fun, so hopefully it's more than just skins and we get a proper mode for it, and the final interesting thing I want to mention before we get into the zombie stuff itself is regarding rebirth.
