News - New: Warzone 2 Godzilla X Kong Event Operator Bundles Early Gameplay. Season 2 Reloaded
Now, it's certainly possible that whatever collaboration we get for Godzilla X Kong isn't on the same scale as the one we saw during Vanguard or War Zone, Cera's life cycle. Maybe it's just going to be bundles this time around as a bit of a surprise to close out season 2 and coincide with the release of the movie.

or something bigger to where we end up seeing the Titans again, on the war zone map, and I honestly doubt we'll end up seeing the Titans on a map like Ekhan.
Although it's a big enough map to support something like that. I wouldn't be shocked if they added the Titans to a smaller war zone map like Fortune Keeper; they kind of just came out with season two. I don't think they can add the Titans to Vondal or even Aika. Although I'm not really opposed to any of the maps having a Titan face-off,.

There was this DM that I saw tweeted out that apparently contains information about the collab we're going to see in season 2 reloaded, and the person had written that the map Mayhem from Vanguard is going to be revamped for multiplayer. That's a map that we saw in Vanguard that had you on a movie set and perfectly fit the theme, a Godzilla Kong event that was actually pretty damn cool, so if they bring that map back.
I wouldn't be opposed to it, although for season 2, we know that there's only just one map left, which is a Dos house reimagining. We know we have the vortex maps too, but you guys know what I mean, and then on top of that, this person said that War Zone will see three skins releasing: a Godzilla skin for BBQ, a Kong skin for Nolan, and a Shimo skin for Jet Shimo, which is actually a character that we didn't know was going to be in Godzilla X Kong, the new movie, but toys actually leaked out, confirming.
That was going to be the case. I suppose, but then the skin that we talked about earlier was for scorch, and that's not mentioned anywhere in this DM, so unless this person just didn't know about scorch. I think this information isn't accurate, but the person ended the message by saying the war zone won't get much in terms of events because they're not actually doing an LTM with the Titans.

But yeah, who actually knows what they're going to do for this? What I also want to mention is that they were likely going to end up seeing a challenge event for War Zone or just all of MW3.
Whether it's an XP Focus one that allows you to get Godzilla and Kong themed cosmetics, or whether it's an actual event with challenges that you can do while playing an LTM inside of one of our war zone apps featuring Titans, that would be badass, but I could already foresee a monarch-themed Universal camo reward for finishing whatever that event is.
I'm sure they're going to end up doing that if they're going to end up doing a big collab for Godzilla and Kong that goes beyond just releasing a bunch of bundles in the item shop, but in terms of when this would actually release, let's go over some dates again.
When will this crossover happen
So the movie itself comes out at the end of March, and they'll probably want to coincide with that release that they do an event inside of Call of Duty, but we also have season 3 coming out just a few days later on April 3rd, so I honestly feel like season 2 reloaded is already jam-packed.
With enough as it is, I mean, we're going to have a big drop on the launch. With your dos house reimagining your zombie content at the beginning of what is likely the Warhammer collab, then you also have that Dune collab that's happening followed by the Vortex event, so that's already quite a bit if they could squeeze a Godzilla Kong event into that.
I'm not opposed to it, but I just wonder how big the event would be if it's going to be squeezed in before the start of season 3. If anything. I wouldn't mind if they open up season 3 with a bunch of Banger content, and then you have that Godzilla Kong collab, like the second week of April, shortly after the start of our third season.
I definitely wouldn't mind that, but I'm sure if this event is tied to Reloaded, we'll get a lot of marketing on it in the next couple of days.
