News - Huge Free Cheat Weekends Issue Warzone 2
I'd say it's been the biggest it's ever been since MW 2019. It's been huge, right? We get cheaters all the time. Like I said before, I made a point in the other article that I don't really play ground war anymore because it is notorious in Grand, and this past weekend was the free-to-play weekend. I ran into cheaters myself quite a few times; it was very blatant people who were level 12 or 24, and that was probably taking advantage of the fact that it was a free-to-play cheat weekend, you know, and now I'm kind of in the like torn on this one now like I I'd like freet-to-play weekends one because the great thing about freet-to-play weekends for those of us who do pay and play the game is that you know you run into noobs, right?.
The issue with mw3 free to play weekends
You get a better chance of facing those bad players. I know it's a bad thing to say because obviously you want those new players to stick around and play the game, but of course you get those nice, lovely lobbies that are a little bit easier, of course, just because they're newer to the game and don't have the stuff leveled up like you do.
But now we're just going to run a cheat anytime I see a level 12. I don't think instantly, Hey, this is going to be an easy lobster; I'm going to get to level 12. My first thought is: one, is he on PC, and two, is he using the engine and owning free cheats this weekend? Have you seen more cheaters this week?
If so, it's probably due to this; it's probably due to the engine's free cheat weekend. Did you see more cheaters this past weekend, from Friday through February? Well, what is it? On February 9th, it started on February 12th. But it was notorious, and again, it was the most notorious in the ground war.
The ground was filled with it. I don't know if it's just because they don't think they'll get caught as much because there are more players. But, yeah, so cheats are on the rise. I made a article about how cheats are on the rise, and this here is going to make it even worse because, one, you're going to have new players just cheating for the sake of it, right?
There are no repercussions because, of course, they don't own the game. Two, people are playing against people who are cheating. That's why he turned them on, so the rage hacking happens because of this, and this could be a big problem.
What can be done to stop mw3 cheaters
It's a bad precedent for the future. I don't feel like Activision is doing enough. Call of Duty is doing enough to stop this. You can't just ban these people. Of course, it's not like consoles either, where you can just console band and they have to buy a new console.
Because the cheats aren't on the console, like there are cheats on the console, you got the Cronus and stuff like that, which is, you know, it's not like any in bots and that, but it kind of is that we've already spoken about the Cronus quite a bit, but legitimate, wall hacks. Aimbot you know, see-through walls and all that stuff.
It's crazy, and you can't really ban someone's PC from the game. So what can we do, right? What can we do as players? Because this is just getting worse and worse, and I've seen that people you know do the reports and that some people abuse them, and some people you know actually do genuinely report the right people.
Again, with the reporting system. I'm a bit iffy with it because it seems like if you just report someone, they instantly get shadowbanned, which is a big issue, which doesn't really solve the problem at all, and if anything hinders the experience of those players who are actually genuinely playing the game, just because you can't tell who's cheating anymore.
It's getting to the point where some people are very blatant, but there are some people who are going to use these free cheat weekends, and there are players who are already good that are going to be even better because of the cheats, and because they're so good already, they're going to know how to hide the cheats, like how many times they have had a YouTu stream, a YouTuber, or someone live streaming on Twitch.
Kick, or whatever it may be. Played the game one money prized, you know, prize pools and tournaments, and never been caught, and then eventually they get caught, and you find out they've won. Hey, they've won $70, 000. From a tournament, we've already seen it quite a few times, even the most recent.
I don't know how to put it the most popular of YouTubers or streamers in that L know ones that do get to make it to like 10, 000 subscribers or 5, 000 you know subscribers on Twitch, etc. Don't actually get found out until it's a bit too late, and they've already, you know, kind of pocketed the money and made their living a bit.
