News - Breaking: Free Operator Unlock & 18. Rewards. Warzone 4 Year Anniversary Event

This is operation day zero for wzm

As the content we're going to be seeing for operation day Zero which is a separate event that's going to be coming out to celebrate the global release of War Zone mobile, so a bunch of rewards ended up leaking out and people out there ended up leaking them and saying these are part of operation Day Zero which will require people to play regular war zone and War Zone mobile that got misinterpreted, completely and funny enough some new rewards also leaked out following the season 2 reloaded patch and some of these rewards include gold Cosmetics so gold Blueprints and even a gold Phantom Ghost Skin which is actually a variation of The Condemned Ghost Skin which is a pre-registration, reward, so all these new gold rewards, are actually what's tied to operation Day Zero, as of now the challenges haven't leaked out for operation Day Zero I'll be talking more about them in a separate article once we learn more, but the challenges that did leak out weren't even for Day Zero Wars on mobile at all; they're actually for the main war zone, and it looks like these were meant to come out to celebrate the four-year anniversary. Unless a mistake has happened where this event just went live a little bit earlier than usual, unless this changes , the war zone welcome missions won't pop up in the event tab but instead will be viewable.

How to find warzone welcome missions

How to find warzone welcome missions

Right next to the Fine Party option at the bottom left of your screen, you'll just hover over that icon, and it'll take you into this menu.

As you guys will see, the challenges are broken up into three different stages.

Stage 1 challenges & reward

The first stage is as follows: to unlock a large decal, you have to log into the game once you complete an insurgence match, get one assist, one kill, and open up one supply box while playing War Zone. This could be done on any map or in any version of Battle Royale or Resurgence that's currently available, so there are three rewards for these welcome war zone missions: And it's very random how they ended up dropping this, but yeah, the challenges themselves are pretty straightforward and won't take you long to do at all when it comes to stage number.

Stage 2 challenges & reward

This will unlock a sticker for you, and the challenges are to edit a custom loadout, pick up a loadout drop in Battle Royale, or resurgence. Buy any item from the buying station in the war zone. Change your operator once for the war zone, and lastly, complete a battle royale-specific match. These are again a little bit more tedious than the first stage, but they could be done in just about one game.

I'd say we need more challenging events like this every now and again. It just requires you to do basic things, not like the weekly challenges where they require you to open a ton of chests or get a ton of kills, but just some simple login. Rewards, or, you know, a series of 510 challenges to let you get a couple of free cosmetics to celebrate, something as simple as the four-year anniversary.

Stage 3 challenges & reward

Stage 3 challenges & reward

But Last but not least, we have stage number three, which requires you to complete 10 total matches in any war zone mode, equip a five-attachment weapon in any war zone mode, complete any one contract in the war zone, and then add one friend in the war zone, which, from Foror's experience, requires you to send a request out to somebody else.

You can't accept an incoming request that for some reason didn't work for him, but if he sends the friend request out before the other player even accepts it, it'll count as complete for this stage, and lastly, buy back one teammate. Through a buy station, those are all the stages of challenges as part of this war zone welcome event, and then by doing all three stages, you will unlock the following: Safeguard the operator's skin.

It's actually a pretty badass skin that, of course, has a more serious tone that people out there constantly ask about. Will we get pretty cool operator skins? I think, if anything, those are best saved for events like this, whereas the goofier skins will be sold through bundles, and that's probably never going to stop for Call of Duty now.

This war zone welcome event definitely scratches the itch for people out there that just want really easy challenges to do, and for those out there that want to get pretty cool operator skins unlocked just like this. I mean, there's not much work really needed to go ahead and complete this to complete 10 matches of War Zone.

You could either do that legitimately by playing full games out, or you could just drop in and turn off Phil Squad and just keep dying over and over again, and you'll burn through those 10 matches relatively quickly.

Bonus warzone events coming soon.

Bonus warzone events coming soon.

I think Wars of Mobile is going to end up scratching that itch, though. There are constant easy war zone events, since there were some exclusive events that went live in War Zone Mobile already that we couldn't see in Modern Warfare 3 or War Zone, but I'm sure those will keep rotating. Every other week and multiple times a season, separate from the other events that already go live in the main Call of Duty series, and I'll still be covering all those Wars of Mobile events here on the channel as well.

Now this event isn't tied to the four-year anniversary, and something else ends up dropping instead. But this honestly feels like a little challenge event for newer players just hopping into the war zone experience, which I guess makes sense for those out there that maybe just jump into war zone mobile and haven't played main war zone yet or maybe haven't jumped into main war FR in a while.

warzone 4 year anniversary

This is a really cool welcome type of event, hence the name, that can let you get some pretty cool free cosmetics. just by doing basic things that don't require all that much effort, but that is about it.

Closing statements

This has been DK Dynamite. Leave our thoughts. I'm sure by the evening of today we'll end up seeing this event live for even more folks, unless this isn't meant to be tied to the four-year anniversary and is meant to come out later in March.

I'm almost doubtful about that considering that they're going to end up doing the Operation Day Zero event, which actually requires you to play Wars on mobile to get rewards that you can use inside of the main Cod series, but with that being said. I really hope you've enjoyed it, and peace
