With their updates, it's certainly a nice change of pace from what we've seen in recent years. Also, as I was in the middle of recording this article, we got a new slight mini update today that addresses the issue with the XP targets being completely incorrect. For the new Vortex event, if you actually have the event tab, they've gone through and changed the XP Target so you can accurately track the fact that you need 1.2 million XP to get that magma camo instead of like the 458, 000 that it was showing. Keep in mind they are still investigating the event tab not showing up, so that'll hopefully be fixed here shortly.

With that said. This is a classic and OG and still one of my absolute favorites to this day, so maybe you're camo grinding trying to break your PR in war zone, whatever the case may be.

As I mentioned up towards the start of the article alongside yesterday's surprise updates, we also got some surprise leaks regarding Some Future Weapons for Modern Warfare 3 and War Zone forward leaks, and then also seex leaks, and the Bob network over on Twitter or X has been posting about these recently, and there's two new weapons that have leaked, presumably.

For season 2, the first of which actually indicates that it's very likely we're going to see a crossover event take place. It's a new sword or a katana-like sword, essentially something that's been leaked in the game files, and we also heard a while back that presumably within season two we're going to see a crossover with Call of Duty and The Walking Dead.

There is going to be a new spin-off of The Walking Dead show. The Ones Who Live, or something like that, based around Rick Grimes and Michonne, and obviously Michonne's weapon of choice in the show is the sword, which is the katana-like object there, so that would certainly line up. The leaks have said and the rumors have said that we're going to have a Rick Grimes operator and a Michael operator, and I would not be surprised if that Michael operator bundle then had a sword melee weapon in it so you could slice into dice as you please.

The second weapon is also very interesting; obviously, the sword is a melee, so it's only so cool. You know, melees aren't really the most popular, so I think it's a pretty niche update, but then our second weapon is certainly interesting; it's definitely niche as well, but it is a brand new bow. However, it seems like it's going to be a bow that is quite versatile.

It's not just like your average crossbow or something; according to the game files, which you should keep in mind, they could always be updated, changed, or scrapped. There's a bunch of different ammo types for it, including just the standard arrows, which would probably act like just a base crossbow.

Right there's rip arrows; we're not too sure what those would do; there's broad arrows, like broad tip; maybe you can have like a wider hip fire spread with those or something; there's shotgun arrows, which to me definitely would be like it's a spread in some cases, like pellets would be, but really interesting description; there's an arot type called H, which might be high explosive or highly explosive, potentially explosive hip arrows pretty self-explanatory; there's DB I have no idea what that would be, and then there would also be gas arrows that would be toxic.

So, there are really interesting descriptions there. This would obviously be a very niche weapon, as mentioned, since it's not going to consistently outgun the top metal rifles, SMGs, and LMGs. But you could have some pretty crazy clips. It seems like with some of these ammo types, that would certainly change how you approach gameplay and how the weapon would be effective in certain situations.

I am very curious to see how this evolves over time as we get official season 2 information. In the coming days and weeks, likely towards the end of January, but certainly some surprise details here today between yesterday's updates and these new weapon leaks. That is going to wrap things up, though.
