New warzone & mw3 season 2 leaks & teases revealed
Actually, we're already going to see the launch of season 2 within Modern Warfare 3 in War Zone. Yes, season 1 reloaded only just dropped a few days ago, but season 2 is already on the horizon, and with it, of course we're going to see another major update across the board. Hopefully this one goes a little bit smoother than season 1 reloaded, but that said, Call of Duty has very subtly been teasing some season 2 content recently.
I'm not sure if they did it by design or if it just so happened to be that we use these images and it teases some stuff, and we're just going to live with it, but either way, we've got some official season 2 teasers out there, and now we also have some new leaks regarding some of the major season 2 content as well.
New season 2 operator teased for mw3 & warzone
So diving right into this, the first teaser actually stems from a thread post that Call of Duty updated a few days ago. Yes, this was a thread-exclusive post for some reason. Charlie Intel posted this as well on their Twitter, saying that Call of Duty posted an image on their official Instagram and threads page that shows that Laswell may become an operator in Modern Warfare 3 and War Zone soon.
Within this image, they say. Hey, there's a million friends online, they've got ghosts, they've got prices, they've got graves, they've got gaz, all current playable operators within Modern Warfare 3 in War Zone, and on that list as well is Lasswell, obviously a main character from the campaign the last couple of years with the whole rebooted Modern Warfare Trilogy.
However, Lwell has yet to become a playable operator. There were several leaks dating back to the launch of Modern Warfare 3 saying that Lwell would be a new playable operator in multiplayer at some point this year, so that would line up with those leaks, and since it's stemming from the official Call of Duty account, it would appear that this is a teaser for one of the new season 2 operators.
Usually, we see anywhere from two to, you know, four new OP operators per season throughout the battle pass, sort of built around whatever the seasonal theme is going to be. Some Insider, you know rumors recently have said that season 2 is likely going to be based around Task Force 141 and more campaign-oriented, so that would certainly line up with that as well now over.

In the past couple of weeks, we've also seen several different leaks surface in regards to some potential future content, some of which we've already covered here on the channel in recent articles.
One of the leaks, in particular, was in regards to one of the potential season 2 weapons, which is the FN2000, or the F2000. Most recently, we've also seen it as the BP50. Back during Vanguard in War Zone 1, this is a weapon that we've actually had leaked since launch, but there's been numerous different files updated for it recently, and this teaser does actually seem to indicate that yes, the fn2000, or the bp50, whatever it ends up being called this year, is going to be returning here in Modern Warfare 3 in War Zone in the near future because during the season 1 reloaded reveal blog, they were talking about ranked play debuting obviously within Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer.
And in the image, obviously, the focus of this sort of content here is the new ranked play skins for getting iridescent and being able to use the operator skins there for achieving that rank. Well, if you pay extra close attention, the main operator is in fact holding a weapon that is not currently in the game.
The main operator is holding the FN2000. And someone over on the subreddit for Modern Warfare 3 actually posted talking about this and saying, Hey, you know, did Sledgehammer accidentally just tease the FN2000? It is always seriously appreciated, but aside from just the FN2000, dropping in season 2 According to Vonas, who is a leaker and a data miner in the community, we actually already have our list of the potential season 2 weapons.
As of right now, usually with the main title updates. The reloaded updates The seasonal launch updates or the surprise one-off patch note that major updates that we see here and there add in new files for future content, so when a reloaded update drops, we get the details and data mined for the next season's weapons.
When that seasonal update drops, we get information for the next reloaded update, and it's kind of like a never-ending cycle. Now, these things could be subject to change because they are leaks at the end of the day, but according to Vonas, the potential season 2 weapons are as follows: The Anvil B, which is the official in-game name for the FN2000.
The HRM, 762, which is the Bara Arx2, 200, and the PM9, which is the minay. PM9— I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing the manufacturer there right, but it is what it is; it's the PM9 SMG, the MTAR, aka, the iwi, x95. SMG, and then also a sword melee weapon as well, so that would be five weapons that usually line up with what we see in any given season, two to three available at launch, then one or two available during the mid-season update.
Leaks are always subject to change, but because these were updated with the files with season 1 reloaded, more than likely those are going to end up being our season 2 weapons here in just a couple of weeks time via the battle pass, and ultimately, the season 2 reloaded update as well. Then According to Seex Leaks, who's also a data miner and leaker in the community, we have some new data mining details in regards to some upcoming executions that are also weapon-based, so when you see various leaks for different weapons in games, sometimes they have similar text strings and things can be confused, but apparently in the near future we're going to see different executions involving a new kind of double barrel, a buzz saw, a sports bike, and a dog as well.
