Jason is here, and welcome back to another Modern Warfare 3 zombie article. Today I'm going to be recapping all of the new zombie content coming with season 2 reloaded. Now, when it comes to zombie content in season 2 of Modern Warfare 3, there isn't a ton; however, since season 2 reloaded is right around the corner.

Call of Duty posted a blog post about what's coming. A lot of what's in the blog post we already knew about from the original season 2 blog post from about a month ago, so in this article. I'm just going to recap all the information we already knew and then go over a few of the new details they decided to share starting on the multiplayer.

Side of the zombies content we have two new Vortex Maps being added to the rotation, we have Airborne which is a zombies themed terminal and then we also have skid grow which is a zombies themed Skid Row in addition instead of just free-for-all, you'll also be able to play hardpoint Team Deathmatch and kill confirmed in addition to those Maps joining the vortex rotation there's also going to be a new event for Vortex this one is called Vortex decay's realm running from March 27th to April 3rd you have to complete certain challenges which we will find out what they are when the event starts and you'll be able to unlock certain rewards like a calling card an emblem a weapon charm and even a weapon camo and that's really about it for the zombie stuff in multiplayer, let's go ahead and move on to actual zombies, we knew about this from the previous blog post but season to reloaded is adding a brand new story mission to the dark ether story operation deadbolt is going to be accompanied by Sergey ranov.

As they infiltrate the dark ether once again, only this time Terminus outcomes have followed Operation Deadbolt into the dark ether. There are going to be new challenges and tasks for the players to complete in the dark ether, and of course that will give us a brand new storyline and cut scene, so let's just see where it goes.

The dark ether storyline in Modern Warfare 3: Zombies has been kind of weird. In my opinion, things just feel disjointed, and they're not very cohesive. But let's see what direction Treyarch decides to take the dark ether story line here for season 2 reloaded. In addition, we also have the brand new Warlord, which is being added to Urzikstan.

Once again, we found out about this new warlord from the previous blog post, but just a quick recap. Kries is going to be located at the Orav military base. carries is a chemical warfare specialist, so the players can expect her to use gas bombs, poison grenades, and then all the other turrets and traps that we've seen previously from Legacy and Doabe, and once you actually break into the military base inside, a new gas compound spreads throughout the facility and disrupts multiple sensors and thermal weapons.

Scopes, then once you get past all that, you'll be able to fight carries herself, and I can only imagine that once you actually defeat carries similar to the two Warlords, you'll get the blueprint that she's using, and then maybe a perk or an ammo mod, but not a super crazy reward. To be honest, the Warlords in Modern Warfare 3 zombies have been pretty underwhelming.

Because the rewards aren't that great, these warlord fortresses are high-risk areas, and the reward isn't really that worth it most of the time, but we'll see. Hopefully I'm proven wrong, and the reward is actually going to be worth it, but to be honest, I doubt it. In addition, three new schematics are being added to Modern Warfare 3: zombies.

The mags of holding, which we went over last time, act sort of like a stock option from Black Ops 3. The blood burner key, which allows you to start the game with the dark ether bike and a schematic for the VR1, wonder weapon, and that's it for zombies in season 2 reloaded, but before I end off today's article.

I'd like to cover the two new weapons that are coming to the game. First of all, we have the soul render melee weapon, which is going to be available in the classified sector of the battle pass, similar to the HRM 9 back in season 1 reloaded. This weapon will be available for you to complete via challenges through the battle pass, and then we have the S-SOA subverter battle rifle coming through a weekly challenge.

The blog post doesn't specify which week this battle rifle is going to be coming, but it will be a reward via one of the weekly challenges. Well, there you have it, everybody. That is the content coming to Modern Warfare 3: Zombies with season 2 reloaded. Since this is the second time Modern Warfare 3 zombies are using a location from Almaza, for the dark ether, I wonder if every single season now is going to feature a location from Almaza.

Or if we're ever going to get an original standalone location for the dark ether, at least for Modern Warfare 3. I'm sure for Treyarch's game later this year they're working on some kind of dark ether area because, let's be honest, that would be a huge missed opportunity if they didn't, but still.

I think it would be more impactful to see an original dark ether location, and honestly. I am looking forward to the two new vortex maps.
