You're fighting some AI, so you could be fighting AI and normal people on top of that. They're not open all the time, and there's only a limited amount of them, so it's going to be a high-risk, high-reward type scenario to go to a stronghold to get your loadout.
Gulag
Now let's talk about the gulag. The gulag is actually very different, and this is something you do want to be aware of.
It is a 2v2 gulag, and I haven't had a situation yet where we teamed up against the jailer in the middle, which we can talk about, but the 2v2 golog is very interesting. You could fight with your teammate if you both die at the same time, or you could fight with a random. You have a gun; you have fists; you have lethal and tactical weapons; and you are working to eliminate the other duo.
Now here's the good news: If I get a kill and then I die, and then my teammate kills The Last Enemy, we both go back in, and even though we're on separate teams, we're working together here. The other thing with the jailer, which again. I haven't done yet, is all four of you can communicate through proximity chat and say, "Hey, let's take out the jailer, and we'll all four go back." I haven't done it myself yet, but a lot of it has been 2v2.
But just be aware that it is a different Gulag and you kind of have to work with that person, who, you know, may or may not be on the same team as you, so just keep that in mind. There's going to be a different Gulag right here now before we jump into the brand new battle pass system, and I want to quickly talk about cars and gas stations.
This is a little bit interesting. Actually run on gas, and of course they do take a lot of damage, but you can actually go to a gas station; it's clearly marked on the map, which allows you to refill on gas and actually repair your car, so if you are using vehicles to get around, just keep that in mind that you can go to a gas station and fill up on gas; it does take a little bit of time, but it does allow you to keep driving around, so just be strategic about it. Use the gas stations that may be in less hot areas.
Battle pass
Now let's talk about the battle plan. The battle pass is very different. Right here, this is what we're looking at. You know, we're starting at A1. Here's essentially how this works: You start at A1, and then you can go whichever way you want, as long as things are connected.
That unlocks it, so let's go ahead and unlock A3 here. So what we're going to do is go to A3, and these tokens right here are the key; you get them in-game, but you can also buy them right here. You know, for CD points, if we go plus 10, you obviously see, but here's how this is going to work: We're going to claim this, and we're going to claim that this claim failed.
Yeah, it did. We claimed that, then we're going to claim this and notice these tokens are going down so we're minus three right now, then we're going to go ahead and claim the last one, which is going to be minus another one, and now it has unlocked A3, which now unlocks A5 and A6, so once again we can go to A6 here, so once again, so once again, so once again, so once again, so once again, so once again, so once again, so once again, so once again, so once again, so once again.
A5 to A9. You can of course see exactly what you're getting in the battle pass, so this allows you to be a little bit more creative and allows you to get stuff that you actually want instead of just that normal linear progression. Now the last thing that I do want to finish up here with is our playlist option.
Look, if you get into quads here and I talk about unhinged trios, it's very much a team game. Obviously, solos are solos, but it's very much a team game; it's not a run-and-gun play by yourself. A win in BR feels like al-mazro; it feels absolutely incredible; it feels better than dance; and, in my opinion, it feels better than rebirth.
I never played Caldera, but I'm guessing it feels better than Caldera. There's something special about a win in this game mode that just feels really good, so you're going to have to work as a team now that unhinged gets interesting because you can recruit enemies and expand your squad up to six people.
Basically, what happens is that you can actually recruit people to come on to your team. So let's say somebody does a random fill, and their two teammates are off in no man's land. You can recruit that solo enemy to join your team up to a squad of six, so this could be really, really interesting in game mode right here, but overall, we've got a good amount of gamers.
