Don't worry because I have the top 5 long-range weapons in Warzone 2 that will help turn those losses into wins. I'll give you a couple stats for each weapon and their best class setups before jumping straight in.
5th best long range weapon
into it The fifth best long-range weapon is the Lochman 556. This is going to be the easiest weapon to use on this list for two main reasons: it has the least recoil and it also has the fastest fire rate at 723 rounds per minute.
This is a very beginner- or noob-friendly weapon, and you can't go wrong with this class setup, We'll start with the harbinger.
Lachmann 556 best class setup
D20 muscle, and for the tuning, we aren't going to touch the left side of it because we want to keep it balanced between the ads and recoil smoothness, but we want the bullet velocity up as we're using this as a long-range weapon, so we're just going to max that stat out on the bottom.
Then from there, we're going to be using this 15.9-inch lockman wrap barrel, and for the tuning, what we're going to do is max out the recoil steadiness and the damage range because the aim walking speed and ads aren't as important on long range weapons, so the ads and walk speed aren't as important as they aren't on, so the aim walking speed and ads aren't as on, so the aim speed, but for the tuning on all of them, what you want to do is go all the way to the right, as that's going to make your visual recoil go down, and then we also go for the ads over the punch resistance. And then, for the last attach, we're going to use this LMS Factory stock, and for the tuning, we're going to max out the ads speed on the left because the aim walking steadiness is not a big deal.
4th best long range weapon
Move on to the fourth best long-range weapon, and we're going to cast off the 762, aka the AK-47.
This is basically the reverse of the Lochman 556; it is actually going to have a slower fire rate that hits hard and has a bit more recoil; the fire rate is 600 rounds per minute, which is identical to the Cold War AK-47 from last Warzone and performs almost identically to that; this one has way more upside than the Lockman, but it requires much more skill, which is why I don't have it higher on the list.
I usually make these things based on how well I think the average player can use them, and for the best players, you could argue that this is the best long-range weapon, so let's hop straight into the class setup.
Kastov 762 best class setup
So we're going to use the zlr. Talon 5 muzzle, and this is going to give us some sound suppression and bullet velocity with damage range, which are super keys to making this weapon perform well, and for the tuning, we're going to max out the bullet speed because of course that is super important on any weapon you're going to be using over 40 meters, and then we don't touch the left hand side because we don't want to hurt the ads or the damage range.
The recoil sensitivity is probably the most important recoil benefit set, and from there we're going to use the 40-round magazine, which is the biggest magazine, but because this thing has really good damage per shot, the damage for the magazine is still pretty solid. Then I use the BLK once again, and I go very far to lower the visual recoil, and then I haven't touched the tuning on the stock of the KSTV-RBK, factory, and you're not going to regret trying this weapon if you're very good at aiming.
3rd best long range weapon
Warzone 2 tips and tricks: The third best long range weapon is the rpk, and it has the same fire rate and time to kill (it's the cast off at 600 milliseconds) for people with three plates at long range, but why did I rank it one spot higher and less recoil; it's going to be because it has more range and less recoil, it's just easier to use with the same benefits.
Time to kill wise, the only con to this is that it has slower mobility, but one giant bright spot about this rpk is that the reload time is actually incredibly fast.
Rpk best class setup
Fast for a light machine gun at 4.9 seconds with the base magazine being 75 rounds, that is some serious firepower on this class, and we're going to be using the zlr Talon just like we did for the cast off, and we're going to be doing the same tuning where we just max out the bullet velocity, and then from there we're going to use this tac 597.
Barrel, where we max out the recoil settings and damage range, you're going to notice that it's a very common setup. On these long-range weapons, where we max out those two stats on the barrel and then from there we go to the VX pineapple, and for the tuning, we go with hip blocking move speed and ads because we're never going to be hip firing this RPK so, we might as well be increasing.
The other stats In this category, and we could actually open up this under the barrel spot because we didn't need a magazine because we already had the 75 rounds, then we go to the VLK optic, and on this one I'm actually going to max out the ads. because it's an LMG and a little bit slower in that category.
I'm trying to benefit from that as much as possible, and then of course we go all the way to the bottom to lower the visual recoil. And then we got this heavy support stock where we go ads, speed again, and aim for idle stability, so we're trying to get those ads as good as possible with a light machine gun, and you're not going to regret using this weapon.
2nd best long range weapon
It's absolutely incredible looking at the second-best long-range weapon, the raw Mt. There's only one condo, this weapon, and it's pretty bad with its putrid mobility, which is much slower than the RPK we just talked about. But why is it the second best? You might be asking, and the answer is simple: it's completely broken and overpowered.
It's very accurate and has the highest time to kill and damage per second on this list; the second is DPS. This list is going to be the cast-off and rpk, at 380, while the raw is at 463 damage per second. Do you understand how big of a gap that is? It also is going to have the best bullet velocity, making it easier to hit your shots out at 80 meters.
The movement is limited in this game, so having the most firepower will usually win your engagement.
