I really enjoyed the raid; I think they did a very good job creating it; I like the puzzles behind it; I like the idea of it; the problem is once. You beat the raid once; then what? The point of keeping on playing it is that a lot of people, yeah, will go for all of those aesthetic things, like calling cards and things like that, that you can get from completing the raid, but to me, that was it.
I completed the raid, and I know where the story goes with it. Why would I keep on playing now if there was something along the lines of beating the veteran raid three times and you actually unlock a weapon or a cool camo or something that was actually rewarding, maybe I would come back or maybe I would play again?
If The Raid changed weekly or biweekly and it was made more difficult and they added in new puzzle things along those lines again. I might play it if there were new cut scenes added in for completing it in different ways, but as of right now, you beat the raid once. That's kind of it, and that's kind of the same way I feel about War Zone after you get 5, 10, and 20 wins.
The point of getting more is that you're not obtaining anything from it; you just have the ability to say, Hey look. I got 20 kills in this game, but I can't even show you because it's not in a combat record. Do I think Warzone 2 is a bad game? No, I actually really enjoy playing it. I like the gunplay, I like the way loadouts work, and I like the changes that they've added in.
I just need more of a reason to play it and to play it more, and a lot of you have been asking when I'm going to put out a loadout article and things like that. I start playing it more and enjoying it more, that's when that will happen, and we're just not quite there, so I'm hoping after the Christmas players get on and they can kind of focus on what comes next for Warzone.
I'm hoping we get something like that; maybe a Resurgence map will help with that, but for now, those are kind of my thoughts on Warzone too.
