News - The End Of Dmz

The funeral.

The funeral.

We're gathered here today to mourn the loss of a dear friend, known as DMZ. Lunch is not provided after the service. Today I want to talk about the current state of DMZ, the future of DMZ, and just a little bit about Modern Warfare 3 zombies since we're just a couple weeks away.

So first up, I want to talk about Warfare 3 zombies.

There's only one thing I want to cover, and honestly. I'm just covering this because I've had it saved on my phone for a good while, but our good old reliable source Charlie Intel tweeted a few weeks ago that the former director of Zombie Coup at Infinity War said he was told zombies do not belong in modern warfare games after development was finished on Infinite Warfare Zombies.

The actual former director had tweeted at some point. Thanks for these good memories, and it is cool that people enjoy what we did with infinite warfare zombies. Too bad we were told zombies do not belong in modern warfare games; now they are in Modern Warfare 3. So there's some bad blood there or something, and Activision, I'm sure, has their reasons.

Just we'll Just before we get into DMZ, I want to quickly talk about the community post. Just a couple days ago, I asked what you think is the most overheated Call of Duty, and the majority said infinite warfare. I just want to quickly give a shout out to Christian Robinson (6278) and Drey (5656).

I have no idea if they'll even see this, but I appreciate them commenting that it's fun and something I genuinely enjoy having, whether it's long or brief conversations with y'all. Seriously. Enjoy. Talking to you to y'all whether you're a subscriber or not. I mean just getting to interact with y'all and not just poe something and having people vote, and that's all you get, no comments or nothing, but just briefly wanted to talk about that YouTube doesn't send out a notification when I post a new one or anything; just be on the lookout for those I've been doing a lot more recently and I plan on continuing them.

So sorry we're dragging on the literal title of this article, which is the end of DMZ, and we're just now getting to DMZ, so here we go.

The confusing future of dmz

The confusing future of dmz

Call of Duty had posted a while ago on Instagram this right here concerning DMZ when Modern Warfare 3 was getting announced, and this is just before the Call of Duty next showcase. But I'll skip to the second paragraph here, saying players will have continuing infiltration opportunities for Al Mazra ashika Island vond, as well as Building 21 and the Kashi complex.

We will share further updates closer to season 1, so whenever they make this post, I mean, nothing really, Revealed, nothing was I mean. Really, the only thing revealed was that in that second paragraph, we're still going to be able to play DMZ. But, transitioning into a tweet by detonated, it's looking like we might not be getting any more updates after the haunting right here, so I think this was a while back to just before the haunting event that is currently going on, detonated says, with conflicting news about DMZ.

The Haunting may be its last update. He says that on one hand, we've heard DMZ will continue to be supported during MW3, and on the other, we've heard DMZ will get no new Modern Warfare 3 content. The future of DMZ is very unclear, and I'm going to be completely honest with y'all. DMZ i do not see DMZ getting any Modern Warfare 3 content.

I've just got a bad feeling. DMZ is going to die out. they're going to they're going to keep on top of it for a little bit while people are still playing it, but eventually everybody's going to shift their focus to Modern Warfare 3, and DMZ is just going to kind of die out, which is a shame because at the beginning of DMZ I really enjoyed it, but I haven't played DMZ in.

Seasons: It's been at least two seasons, a couple. Seasons, it's been a while, so I think it will be supported for a little bit. Maybe the first couple months of Modern Warfare 3 are out, but eventually it's going to die down, which, like I just said, is a shame. They're really going to shift their focus to zombies, and if I'm being honest, I'm incredibly excited for zombies.

I'm excited for the outbreak. I'm excited for it; it's pretty much an outbreak. DMZ had a baby boy. We have Modern Warfare 3 zombies. I'm excited for it; a bunch of hardcore round-based people aren't, but don't let those people discourage you if you are excited about it like I am. Speaking of community posts, though, I have been posting some zombie stuff.

A bunch of y'all seem like y'all are ready for zombies, which I am too. I'll be posting plenty of guides and stuff once it drops here in just a couple weeks. I'm on a Yap session now, and I'm just yapping away, so I'm sure there's some stuff I'm forgetting that I want to talk about, but I'll cover it in another article.

So this was a quick article that just kind of spurred the moment. I should talk about this a little bit, but nothing of real value here, but if you made it this far, I really do appreciate you, and yeah, give me a counter of how many times I said this article. It's probably only a handful, but we'll see.

What's going on everybody! It is not looking too hot for the future of DMZ in Modern Warfare 2. Call of Duty has posted a couple of statements concerning the future of DMZ, but not clarified on a lot of things. I think DMZ is going to be left behind and ultimately forgotten once Modern Warfare 3 comes out in just a couple weeks Everyone will be so focused on the new Warzone map, Multiplayer and Zombies.
