New update today, hidden season 1 changes, huny badger in-game (mw2 and warzone 2)

We got another new update for Modern Warfare 2 today. There were actually some hidden changes with the Season One update, and there's a way you can use the honey badger in-game right now in Modern Warfare 2. In this article, we're going to be covering all those topics and more in a rapid-style format so that we can quickly watch this article and get right back in the game.

If you're new here and want to stop, I would greatly appreciate it, and if you'd like to like our comment, thank you.

Hidden camo change (mw2 season 1)

a ton So starting off, they secretly changed how some of the solid camo looks here in Modern Warfare 2, and they didn't say anything about this in the patch notes, but if you've been using the solid green camo, almost immediately.

You will notice this is nowhere near as bright and nowhere near as vibrant, and this was one of the most used colors I saw in multiplayer. I don't know if they purposely went out of their way to nerf it because it was too visible or if our people were just overusing it; they didn't give us an explanation. In the solid camo, whereas beforehand you knew it used to be solid; it was one solid collar; now it's got a little bit of wear and tear, and you're going to notice it on different weapons, and some of the other colors have changed too, but the most notable by far is going to be the green camo.

Then, on top of that, they also changed how loud your footsteps are in the game. You'll notice almost immediately while playing Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer that enemy footsteps are going to appear a lot louder in your footsteps, and enemies are going to be a lot more noticeable.

Today's mw2 update

As well, we also got another update today while I was recording this article.

Infinity War tweeted that we just deployed a fix that makes the social menu accessible across Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. Please restart your game if you continue to have any issues. They completely disabled the social menu, so you weren't able to invite friends; you weren't able to do any of that because of the issues that were going on.

That's now been fixed, and if you restart your game, it should be working perfectly fine. Now one small change that came with this update that I don't see people talking about but that I really like is that you can actually preview the camo challenges without leveling up the weapon beforehand.

So for the M13b, first you have to get 50 kills, then it's 10 double kills. 15 point blanks and 15 kills from behind.

New loading screen setting mw2

New loading screen setting mw2

In this season one update, they also added a new customizable feature we've never seen in COD before: loading screens. Yes, in here there's a bunch of different loading screens; a lot of them are from bundles, and some of them I think we just had by default, and if you select this, this is going to replace them.

Map loading, screen So now when I load a map, it's going to show one of these screens instead. You can set it to randomize, but now watch what happens when we go to play a game. Yeah, here we go. So now that we're loading in, this has replaced our loading screen. You can still see the map at the top right.

This is such a weird feature. I didn't know I wanted this, and I'm not sure if I'm going to even use this feature, but yeah. You can now change your loading screen by clicking.

How to check your stats in mw2 / warzone 2

dmz season 1

You load into Maps next; they finally added a way for you to check your stats and games, so once you load into any menu, click on these six squares up here, and then you're going to see a stats icon.

Once you click this, it's going to load the stats page right now. There's only multiplayer; you can't check the DMZ, our war zone; those don't exist. But if we click into the multiplayer menu, this gets pretty detailed. We've got time played, games played, and average kills per game score per minute.

KD win-loss ratio is your highest kill. It shows your secondary weapons. If you go to weapons, you just see your most kills from every weapon, and you can sort it by headshot percentage and KD ratio. If you go to equipment, you can see your most-used equipment and all this stuff here. You can also see your recent matches, of which I lost the majority, which is kind of embarrassing.

You can also see your most-played modes and matches, so yeah, that is currently the home page. Hopefully they add this for DMZ and Warzone in the future, and it's pretty detailed. I'm pretty happy, and it's more detailed than the last few games we've got, so even though we had to wait a couple weeks after launch.

Season 1 offical patch notes (mw2 / warzone 2)

I think it was worth the wait with how much detail and how much you know about , stuff we got in this game, and we also have official patch notes for the season one update. We're going to skip a lot of this because we talked about it in a previous episode, and I don't want to say the same thing twice.

The main thing to take away from this is weapon balancing. Here are the buffs.

Ar weapon buffs and nerfs in season 1 (modern warfare 2)

The nurse from season one assault rifles increased. To a long distance Flinch, on all assault rifles cast off 545, ads for speed increase and improvement, ironsight ads site pictures cast off 74U, which is one of the best weapons in the entire game.

Speed Inc. Or, ad sb, decrease hip spread and increase the M4 hip spread reduction; the M16, which a lot of people consider to be one of the worst weapons in the entire game, look at how much stuff they change with this rate of fire increase, hip-spread reduction, reduced recoil, re-center speed, and increased shot grouping.

Improvement increase: increased movement speed; strafing movement speed semi-auto, Recoil reduction semi-auto, Damage reduction So most of these are buffs. Essentially, if you're using it in burst, this is going to feel like a completely different gun. I haven't had the chance to use it myself yet, but people are saying the M16 is now pretty good.

However, the semi-auto version of the M16, which is the way I used to recommend using it, actually got its damage reduced, so burst is definitely going to be the way you use the M16 now. Close-range damage reduction is reduced. Sprint to Fire.

Battle rifles weapon buffs and nerfs (modern warfare 2)

Speed Battle Rifles. F-TAC Recon 80s Speed Improvement five-round magazine increased flange caused by bullets' hip spread decreasing and the SO14 increasing (), hip fire when using full-auto handguns.

Pistols, lmgs weapon buffs, and nerfs (modern warfare 2)

Increased close range Flinch to all handguns like machine guns increased long-range Flinch to all light machine guns; they have added a lot more Flinch to this game.
