10 massive updates in season 1 reloaded (rapid fire)
We've got a ton of new Call of Duty news to cover today; they showed off the ultimate reward you can unlock in the raid mode for Modern Warfare 2; you might only be able to unlock the honey badger in the DMZ mode; they also showed off shipment, and it's not going to be like the shipment that you saw in Modern Warfare 2019.
In Vanguard as always, we're going to be covering this in a rapid-style format article that way you can quickly watch this and get right back into the game, and yes. I was gone the last few days, so I'm kind of incorporating all the news from the last three days into one single article with that.
Shipment is going to be different in mw2 (mw2 season 1)
Let's roll right in, so starting at , Off, they gave us an insane amount of information for shipment.
I'm not sure how they wrote this much for one of the smallest maps in COD history, but they did summarize the most important stuff here. The only shipment we need for the holidays is more crates for cover. No, container climbing Ground fights only drill, charges for more explosive gameplay, so yes, this is not going to be the shipment that we saw in Vanguard.
The ones we saw in COD Mobile are the ones that we saw in Modern Warfare 2019. This is going to be ground only; you can't get on top of the containers; there's going to be no jumping; none of that stuff; just ground fights, which I like in that version of shipment better; I kind of want to see how it plays with this more slow movement gameplay in Modern Warfare 2.
I don't think they can ruin the shipment. I still like shipment a lot in Modern Warfare for 2019; it's just one of those maps where, when you're playing shipment, you know what you're doing: you're there to grind, you're there to get camos, you're there to get some stuff done, and I think I'm going to like this better in the Modern Warfare 2019 version. We're just going to have to wait to see one notable thing I did want to : talk about in this blog post.
Iw told people to use riot shields on shipment.
Out of all this. I read through the entire thing, but the only thing that really caught my eye was that, yes, they are telling people to use riot shields on their backs to stop people from shooting them in the back, so if you see a lot of people using riot shields in the new version of the shipment for Modern Warfare 2, you know why they legitimately have to.
Listen, sometimes you've got to do what it takes to survive if you're getting annihilated. Equip the overkill base perk and the riot shield along with your primary weapon of choice. This shield will help protect you against back-attack acts while providing essential cover for approaching objectives.
Just watch those rockets and drill charges, so yeah, if you're using, you know, the anti-explosive perks, you've got a riot shit on your back, you're going to be doing just fine on shipment, We're also going to be getting a limited-time holiday-themed version of the shipment as well, which I'm pretty excited for.
Lmt version of shipment coming to mw2 as well (mw2 season 1)
I love the change of scenery when they add these holiday versions of the map. Holiday shipments available for a limited time and decorated in the holiday spirit across their main deck shipment will receive a temporary festive visual overhaul from December 21st, throughout the new year, to January 1st, 2023.
Those on the naughty list won't have to fret over any mythological issues with creatures during the holiday season; the only threats are your fellow operators looking to grind camos, so no, the little elves aren't going to be around the map, and no. Krampus is not going to be on shipment or in Warzone this time. I know that was a huge issue last year.
Rocket league is coming to cod (mw2 season 1)
Next, we are finally getting that leaked Rocket League Soccer game mode into Modern Warfare 2. This leaked before Modern Warfare 2 even dropped, and we've been talking about it for a very long time. This limited-time mode brings two teams of three operators to the field, where they will have special ATVs.
With a pulse ability to push a massive football into the other team's goal, collect and Tosh Sock Sticks to stall your opponents, who are boozed through the enemy vehicles to Ram them out of the way, the first team to score five goals is the team with the most goals at the end of the time limit. Win the match.
This mode can be played by any operator, so no, you don't have to buy the World Cup bundles to be able to play it. We already knew that one thing that is interesting is that they call this War Zone Cup; it's not called Modern Warfare, 2 Cup, so I think this is going to be a free-to-play mode all around.
Limited time rewards for rocket league mode?
You just have to have Warzone installed, and you should be able to play this. They don't talk about any rewards or grindables in this mode that the original supported. The team feature, which was the original World Cup event a couple weeks ago, had a bunch of different unlockables. From different tracks to different calling cards, however, that was all RNG, and all you did was vote on a team, so hopefully they bring back some grindables.
In this mode, I want to be able to play it, and I want to grind for some things, but either way, I'm going to try it out.
New warzone 2 gamemode (mini royale)
But hopefully we get some grindables in this mode, and then we've got a new game mode coming to Warzone, or at least new to Warzone 2, for more traditional Battle Royale fans. Season 1 Reloaded also sees the return of any real "tactical condensed" variant of the standard Battle Royale; expect fewer players but more compact safe zones and Al-Mazura.
Right from the drop, those looking to drop in and win within a few minutes are those who want to test their abilities in close quarters. Many reals are planned to be included as part of scheduled playlist updates, so once they add in Mini Royale, they don't plan on removing it; they plan on keeping it, updating it, and making it one of the standard playlists for the game.
Double xp and double weapon xp dates in mw2 (mw2 season 1)
They've also confirmed another double-XP event, and this time it's going to include double weapon XP to celebrate this new update. Double XP and double weapons XP will be active across all platforms during its extended launch weekend from December 15th through December 19th. PlayStation owners will also have double XP active from December 14th on, so if you're a PlayStation owner between December 14th and December 19th, you're going to be getting the event; for everyone else, it's December 15th through the 19th.
