News - Free Operator Skins, New Challenge Event & Sneak Peek. Warzone 2 - Season 3 Reloaded Update

mw3 cod endowment event

Not too many details were featured about what this event will entail in terms of rewards, but it does say in the blog post to look out for the in-game you assist veterans challenge, which also stands for UAV arriving during the midseason. The event kicks off on May 8th and lasts through May 22nd in support of the endowment's military appreciation month.

Stay tuned for more details on the in-game event and additional military appreciation month announcements, with a code to come on May 6th. So it does look like just two days before the event starts, we'll get a detailed blog post or just a tweet somewhere talking about the bundle that we can get an early glimpse of and specifically about how this event is going to work, so I'm guessing it'll be an XP challenge event just like the Vortex one we have now.

I do like when it switches it up a little bit, where you have an XP-focused event, then an actual challenge-based one, maybe a community one. After that, I like when they spice things up a little bit with how events work. I'm hoping it's more than an XP-focused event, but I would not be surprised if you got an XP bonus for running the brand new code Warrior skin that is going to end up dropping in early May now.

May 22nd is when the event ends, which gives the game one week before the start of season 4 on May 29th. Sadly, this may just be the only challenge event for Reloaded. Now I'm not too now I'm not too upset about that, considering War Zone Mobile is going to be offering a number of different events we can take part in if you guys are interested in that.

I covered that in my article this morning, and on top of that, season 4 is just a week later. This event does end, so I'm sure they're going to end up saving some better events and more of them for the next season, which does begin at the very end of May and will last all throughout June and a bit of July.

It's just funny how in the blog post they mentioned the vortex virus Mainframe event, and I'm like. Wait, that's not really a reloaded update since that event releases before reloaded, but I guess because it lasts even after the launch of the season update, that's why they mention it in the blog post.

mw3 season 3 bundles

They just want to clear that up for those out there that may be confused, but those are some free operators that you probably didn't know about first.

Free electron operator bundle in mw3 released

Off the electron operator skin, which was originally part of a 1500 Cod Point bundle, this pack can now be claimed if you have a Prime gaming subscription.

If you guys go ahead and get a Prime subscription or activate a free trial for one, it'll give you a code that you can actually go ahead and input at {762} and redeem. This bundle does come with a subatomic skin for Enigma; you also get the Death Conductor Marksman rifle weapon blueprint; you also get a calling card vinyl emblem; and even a charm.

It's actually a pretty impressive-looking pack, and I know folks get frustrated if they already own this bundle and maybe also have a subscription to Prime Gaming. There's never any real way to know what bundle is going to end up being free at some point in the future. I'm not sure if they base it off of how many purchases a bundle has.

Well, they say, Hey, the bundle they bought the least in a certain season will become free for Prime next season. I'm not really sure how that works, but there's also a really cool-looking operator skin called Proton.

Now this is for COD Mobile, not War Zone Mobile, but yeah, Cod Mobile, the game that came out a couple of years ago. Hopefully, that makes sense again. I don't really cover Cod Mobile all that often, if really at all.

I'll bring it up every now and again, like, for example, we brought it up on the podcast this morning because there's a really crazy-looking Mastercraft Inspector that got released a little while back. We'll mention it every now and again, but Cod Mobile is of course its own beast in its own corner, completely disconnected from the mainline Call of Duty series and War Zone Mobile.

Good news for the future of call of duty!

But the last thing I'll end with is this statement from the Microsoft CEO, which was released yesterday. They confirmed that they've been encouraged by the ongoing success of Modern Warfare 3, which is attracting new gamers and retaining franchise loyalists. So just some more good news: Modern Warfare 3 is really breaking some records.

Microsoft is really happy with the extra revenue that Call of Duty has brought in since they acquired Activision. A little while back, so I think if anything, Modern Warfare 3 has probably set the standard for how post-launch content updates are going to look for Black Ops 2024. And games beyond Modern Warfare 3 didn't have that long of a development cycle, and with the new Black Ops game rumored to have had four years of development.

I can't even imagine how we can take what's really worked so well for this current game. Modern Warfare 3, and do it even better over the course of hopefully more than six seasons. I'm really excited about that because, again, from weekly challenges to a bunch of challenge events to really strong road maps.

I think this is really what Call of Duty needed to see for equal amounts of support in multiplayer, war zone, and whatever the third mode is. Hopefully, this is all here to stay, and hopefully, this has set a president for the franchise moving forward, but.
