In terms of the playlists that are actually available with today's update, we have 10v, 10msh, and grous 24/7. And the War Zone playlist update doesn't get changed until tomorrow. Something else that I also forgot to mention is that there is another triple double XP event that is now live, meaning that you'll have access to double weapon double battle passes and double regular XP.
For pretty much the majority of this event, it looks like it ended and then it restarted. Once again, this one's probably going to be going up until Monday. On top of that, there's also that XP boost that I talked about yesterday that is active as well, so on top of the double XP, you can also get an additional 20 or 30% XP boost simply by playing with.
New jak jawbreaker battle rifle & week 2 challenges
Some friends Something else we received with today's brand new content update is the Week 2 challenges that are now available.
If you complete all these, you get five out of the seven challenges done, and you will unlock the new Jack Jawbreaker, which is a new aftermarket part that converts the KV broadside into a hard-hitting battle rifle—that's right, a shotgun into a battle rifle—and they're doing this with MW2 aftermarket parts.
This is some footage from Sledgehammer Games pretty much showcasing this brand new weapon. I'm trying to get this article as quick as possible, so I didn't have time to complete all the challenges. If I get additional footage, I'll go ahead and put it in this article, but this is something you'll be able to get.
They will continue to add more MW2 aftermarket parts, respecting some for the M16 and more for the shotgun, and I think it's a good thing because we have well over 50 weapons in Modern Warfare 2 that a lot of people have seemed to forget about, and they're just not part of the meta; they don't hit as hard as the HR M9, the retti, or some of the newer weapons that we have here in the game, for example.
I'm sure the M16 aftermarket part that they're going to be introducing later on that turns it into a full auto will probably introduce it and make it one of the better metal weapons that you can use. I remember the M16 being one of the most hated weapons, even in MW2. Imagine that being in the meta with MW3, weapons, and MW2 weapons put together would be hilarious anyway.
Patch notes in mw3 & warzone
The last couple things that I wanted to mention are just a followup from the update that we had yesterday, so Cod updates tweeted that in the war zone they're investigating an issue causing an unintended delay when attempting to detonate a C4, so if you've been having problems with the C4 in the war zone, this is actually a bug and they're working on fixing it.
Another bug that they have reported it says rebirth island has been disabled in private match settings, while we investigate an issue I'm not entirely sure what the issue is I know people have been able to do like the new contract, and pretty much completed without detonating the nuke but I'm not entirely sure if that has to do with private match maybe people were able to do that there I have no idea but they ended up disabling that in the meantime, and so far in regards to the topic that we talked about yesterday and the banss that they are doing it doesn't seem like they've mentioned or announced anything in regards to that we're still waiting maybe they're going to give us a little bit more information.
If there are false bands going on, or if they're actually banning accounts, usually they'll get like a Ricochet little update that is covered in a blog post, and we'll have more information on that probably in the next couple of days, but that's all I got for you guys in this article.
