Will mw3 zombies be discontinued after cod 2024?
It's not getting updated anymore, and I think that something similar will probably happen with Modern Warfare 3 zombies, where as soon as season 6 swings around, there'll be no more updates, and then we'll move on to Cod 2024. That's the typical Call of Duty cycle where we move on so quickly. Al Activision always just gets us to buy the next $70 game and moves us on to that thing, and I think Modern Warfare 3 zombies will probably get no more updates like DMZ after this year, and then there'll be another open world zombie mode next year that isn't DMZ, and personally.
I would enjoy that more. I would like a more endless survival open-world experience that isn't reliant on you collecting loot for future games, is more of a jump-in and-play experience, and gives you the freedom to roam around the map for hours and hours and hours without having to get reset.
Verdansk zombies free to play & on mobile?
I think we'll probably see that next year, and the question is, of course, when Warfare 3 zombies aren't free to play in DMZ. I really hope they have open-world zombies again next year that are free to play because it'll open up the community to a much wider audience. Which suggests to me that Activision is testing the waters to see if this is a viable option for zombies to go free to play in the future, and I personally think Modern Warfare 3 zombies would have been so much more successful if it had been as successful as the original outbreak.
I think Ramb should always remain as part of the paid-for experience, but the model of open-world zombies and how they do updates definitely suits a live-service free-to-play model a lot better with more minor updates that are very regular and an ever-evolving experience in map as opposed to the more stagnant round-based experience.
