News - Black Ops Gulf War Zombies On Verdansk - Treyarch's New Open World Zombies & Warzone Map Warzone 2 Zombies
I'm not super nostalgic about Viansa, like a lot of other people. I don't think it was an insane war zone map, and even Zikan is very similar aesthetically. And even layout wise too for Dans in many ways it's definitely taken inspiration from that map so is the Dan really necessary to return I think they're just doing it mainly due to Nostalgia so many people are begging for it back but I guarantee the second it releases, people will enjoy it a bit but then they'll just be feeling like they always do with war and realize you know the map is special due to Nostalgia but that's my own personal opinion it just does suck though that vians is returning with tr's big comeback and I was hoping we would get to see a TR orientated, map at last but we'll have to wait I think another year for that I don't think it's going to be anything like the blackout map or the Euro Mountains map which is layout, wise very different to how they've designed the War Z Maps where they're all cluttered, and there's lots of buildings on the map with the blackout, map and the Euro mountains they kind of had big empty spaces between the main locals.
Blackout style map?
And I don't think they're going to design that for War Zone because it's very different gameplay-wise from a blackout, and I don't think it would really fit the gameplay flow of War Zone.
90s verdansk or modern verdansk?
If fans are returning, when is it going to be set because there are so many different options? Of course, we have the Dank 84, so maybe we're going to get a '90s SL, early 2000s version of a Dank.
Another possibility is that maybe it's just going to be set in 2024, in real time, so set a year after Modern Warfare 3's campaign, where we last saw it, that could be one possibility. However, if they were to do that. I don't know how it would connect to the campaign of Black Ops Gulf War, but of course people seem to love the season 5 version of AD Dana the most, so they're probably going to make it the most similar to that.
Verdansk nuke event to be finally explained?
Another thing that's important to note is the nuclear event Recon. Because if they're going to be bringing back vians, is there going to be any reference to the nuke event?
Many people think it's Recon after we saw it in Modern Warfare 3's campaign, where it's pretty much fully intacted and the stadium is fully intacted. It is possible that they're not really just sticking to realism; it might have just been a small nuke that didn't really destroy much; it could even tie into zombies where it was an ethereum nuke that neutralized.
The zombies and that could explain how very little was destroyed, they could try and change things there personally I think the nuke event will still be Cannon to the story line in some way I think they're just not really going to go for the realism route or they're not really going to pay much attention to it but if we're going to get zombies on for Dan I assume they're going to reference the nuke event at some point and give us some information and finally give some sort of resolution for the community, as to whether it is Canon or not because so many people are just constantly asking about it and that could literally just carry on from Modern Warfare 3 zombies' storyline because of course that's taken place before Modern Warfare 2's campaign in 2021.
Two timelines in cod 2024 and zombies
So at the end of The Campaign, it might leave us on a cliffhanger, tying into Black Ops golf war zombies but also tying into what may happen in the future if we get 2024.
Zombies was supposed to be on verdansk in mw2019
Zombies experience on the open world map you know Gul War zombies, we might get two story lines happening get once one in the GF War One in modern day, and the interesting thing about us getting zombies on vians is if you are unaware zombies were actually supposed to be on vians in Modern Warfare 2019.
Brian Brigh, the ex-leader of Infinite Warfare Zombies, did come out and say they had zombie AI fully working on fans, and they did want to have zombies, but High Ups at Infinity W told them that zombies don't belong in modern warfare games because they were trying to stick to a realism philosophy.
Of course, that's ironic now considering Tre has brought zombies into Modern Warfare 3, but I guess that was the early groundwork for Modern Warfare 3 zombies because they were planning to have some sort of open-world zombie game on vians; in fact, there was even stuff found in the files of the game of spec ops, and it was found that there was going to be a pvpv. Zombies mode in Spec Ops, and it would involve things like having to defeat huge bosses on the map to get Wonder Weapons, so it seems like that was the early groundwork for what ended up becoming Modern Warfare 3 zombies, but that got cancelled, but now we're finally getting zombies on The Dan, and again, this is even more ironic because, if you look back on Modern Warfare 2019, and when war zone first released so many people were speculating about zombies coming to war zone and stuff like that and I guess we did see it on vians, with the nuke event and The Haunting events but all these years later we might finally be getting a proper Zombies mode and I think this is really good my problem with Modern Warfare 3 zombies right now is we only have the MZ zombies there isn't really another option right now unless there's something added post launch for other players if they bring round Base Post launch for example but right now there's only one option where I think with Cod 2024, zombies it would be awesome if we get round based and we also have open world zombies at the same time and another thing to point out is next year we're also going to be getting rebirth Island returning in Spring, 2024.
Treyarch making new warzone resurgence map
And we will also be getting Fortune's keep returning to war zone as well in early 2024, so that'll probably be season 2 maybe rebirth Island will be season 3 or 4 and they'll probably come to Modern Warfare 3 zombies as well are smaller Maps I can't wait to see them and will they also come to Cod 2024 zombies you know for example we could get a modern version and then a 9s version as well when next year swings around there's so many possibilities for the future I think they're going to be reusing a lot of these open world maps though for zombies trick will also be making a smaller Resurgence, map that's apparently called Marina in the files we're not sure if that's the final name we don't know anything about this map though so we don't know how it will work I think they're going to start releasing, lots of resurgence map because it seems like Battle Royale is kind of dying and Resurgence is something that is really captivating, and many people are just playing Resurgence nowadays anyways since it's basically like a large scale multiplayer , and what is going to happen to Modern Warfare 3 zombies next year of course DMZ has been completely discontinued.
