News - Warzone 2's Current Meta Is Broken

They're trying to gain that advantage, so this is where Sledgehammer Games needs to step in, and they need to look at this and they need to utilize the data that they have at their disposal to say what is best for the game, what is going to create a healthy balance so that these metas don't overtake some of the respawn modes, and actually make the game more enjoyable across the board, making it more equitable.

I guess you could say again that I don't want to nudge them into the ground where they become unusable, but at the same time, I don't want to completely ignore them. The fact that R-gunning at the moment is kind of a non-option if you're playing in a little bit more of a competitive game. Sure, some people were blaming each other for utilizing certain weapons, but the main concern seems to be health, right?

The fact that 150 Health increases the ttk, which in turn makes these weapons more viable and makes the meta move towards where we're at right now, and I found that to be very interesting. Do I necessarily agree? I'm not too sure, but what I can say is that whenever there has been a game with 150 health, the metas have always been a little problematic.

Look at the Black Ops Cold War game. I really like the meta that leans more towards LMGs. Right again, the same thing happened with Black Ops 4 150 Health lmg-style meta, and these metas that promote a little bit different gameplay that's away from the AR SMG seem to be Call of Duty, which I don't really enjoy as much.

Because I'm an AR SMG-type player, maybe the game's just not catering to me, and that's where my frustrations lie. I would just love to hear your thoughts. I'd love for us to start a little bit of a discussion here and see where the game could go. Do we need to massively nerf the two-shot meta? I don't think so, but I think a happy medium needs to exist.

So it's up to Sledgehammer Games, but it's also up to us to provide our feedback, so I'd love to hear your thoughts.
