82 big changes in season 2

Two patch notes start off with the launch trailer, which we have already gone over on the channel. As far as the details go, it says Wednesday. February 15th, which is when it comes out, and the main things that they are talking about here are The Resurgence being back on Ashika Island and the path of Ronan's challenges.

Vanquish your opponents like a true warrior with the new Ronin operator, five new weapons during the season, three of which are available for free within the battle pass, and a personal new watercraft. Vehicle So the first thing that we have here is the Path of Ronin event, and what it says here is that the Path of Ronin will present players with a variety of challenges spanning several weeks based on the Seven Virtues of Bushido: integrity, respect, courage, honor, compassion, sincerity, and loyalty.

Each of these seven challenges comes with a reward for completion, which can include an operator's skin, a weapon blueprint, a weapon charm, and more. The first three of these challenges will go live at the season's launch, with two more each of the following two weeks. is cool, and this is really awesome.

This is something I said they should do for a really long time in Call of Duty, and they are finally doing it. Essentially what they're doing here is having weekly events, so for the first three weeks, challenges are available; you complete all of them; the next week, two more are available; the week after that, two more are available; and then, when you complete them, you get the crossbow.

Once you've completed all of them, Big thumbs up in my book; they should have done stuff like this a lot earlier. I hope they do a lot more, and I hope people like it. So progression now goes up to prestige nine and level 450; that's the maximum that can be achieved in season two weapons. We have the ISO Hemlock, which is a powerful assault rifle, basically.

It uses 556 ammo or subsonic 0.300 BLK emulation, providing Battlefield advantage, and can be acquired via the season 2 battle pass. The second one is the KV broadside shotgun. This is a 12-gauge shotgun in the cast of Platform; it's a semi-auto firing shotgun, and then we have the kodachis, which is a melee weapon where you move slower towards your target but you have a longer range attack, and then finally, upon completing the, uh, path of ronin, you can get the Marksman rifle, which is the crossbow.

So now when we get into our weapon balancing, I am going to go through this quickly and just tell you whether or not the weapon was a buff or a nerf. The M13 has an overall buff The cast of the 762 is overall Nerf the Lochman 556 semi-auto. Specifically, it got buffs and is similar to the M4. The semi-auto got buffs, but the rest of the weapon is the same.

Also read:

The stb just had a bug fix with it, Lochman, and the 556 essentially had a nerf to full auto but a buff to semi-auto f-tac. Recon, based on what I'm seeing overall, got a Nerf but has faster ads and better lower body damage. You just do less body damage to the upper body and head, so I don't know, but it seems a little bit worse overall.

Yeah, so 14 overall had a buff. The attack V had an overall very large nerf, and x13 had a nerf to a Kimbo but a buff overall. Estrella, P, and RPG overall got buffed, but again, read those if you want more information. The RPK overall got a very large nerf; it'll be much worse than it was before, and the rail got increased recoil (EBR 14).

Overall, I got a pretty large buff, and I'm actually guessing this might be a good weapon to use now if you use the right attachments. LMS just had minimum damage against armor added, and the attack M got a pretty large buff with a slight increase to fire rate and more upper torso damage, so overall, a good thing.

Also read:

One thing that they did with melee, and this is a big thing, is that it takes three hits to kill someone with full armor with a non-knife. This is a big positive in my book. The Vasnev 9K got a nerf, the Mini Back got quite a big nerf, and the Fennec also got a nerf, so overall, the SMGs are going to be worse.

Within season 2 and after the signal 50 got a nerf, it appears as though sniper rifles are still not going to be one-shot headshots. To the head, as far as vehicles go, there was some vehicle tuning, but they have also added in the skidoo, or the watercraft, as they're calling it, and Ronin as the new operator, audio adjustments, specifically to proximity chat and improved sound effects when reloading underwater, but also some other audio fixes as well as some social and social bug fixes.

There's a lot there you can read through if you'd like to see UI improvements. We've talked about this, and I'm actually very curious to see what this looks like once we're in the game. Global settings, bug fixes, and PC settings have been updated, and they have added a party finder option to the raid.

Lobby, that's good. More people will play. The raid—that's a good thing in my book. I'll fix some issues, and then As far as multiplayer goes, we have new game modes: infected gun game grind and hardcore, and then we have new maps: Dome Valderas. Museum, which is just Museum from the Beta Zai Observatory, and al-Malik International for our battle maps.

Then we have ranked play, which you can read through if you want, but it goes through all of the different rule sets and how the different senior ratings work. I think this is actually pretty good. I think it's going to be one of the best-ranked players we've seen in a very long time. The top 250 leaderboard, things along those lines, the way the ranks work and grinding out that you can earn through ranking up and grinding out that you then get into war zone two; this mainly talks about Ashika.

Island, and the new map and the various different locations within it; I'm not going to go through all of this; we've talked about this map very much in depth; we have app map updates to Al-Mazar; first of all, we have the downed aircraft at the caves; you have underground tunnels in suburb 14; you have a new passenger train moving counter-directionally to the existing cargo train; that's pretty interesting; you have a path through the cliffside at North Zarqua hydroelectric; and they added a vehicle ramp to the garage rooftop and Allen League International; that's pretty cool; and of course the glue log is now one for season one.

modern warfare 2 patch notes

As far as playlists go, we have Almazra, solos, duos, trios, and quads, and then we have Ashika Island, which is going to be a quad only at launch with the maximum players of 52, so a little bit higher there, and that appears to be the only playlist at launch for Ashika Island, which is kind of crappy; I wish they had more there.
