News - Unlock Animated. Blazon. Camo Fast/easy. Uav Endowment Event - Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded
This is DK Dynamite, and today we're going to be talking about the new UAV event coming in Modern Warfare 3: all the challenges, rewards, and even an animated camo. There has been so much to cover since the launch of our mid-season 3 updates. And that's in regards to Black Ops 6, Modern Warfare 3, War Zone, and even more.
I have plenty of other articles coming up for you guys over the next couple of days. It was also leaked out by Reality UK, a known data miner, over on Twitter that the next Double XP event for MW3, in the war zone, will in fact be May 10th, and as a reminder, we have plenty of brand new article coverage going up over on {780} for those who want to stay up to date with all things Call of Duty.
I actually have an article up on the site that lets you guys know exactly when every new double XP weekend is as soon as we learned that information, of course, but with that as well.
New update download explained
PlayStation size on Twitter did go ahead and confirm that a new update did get added to the database for COD HQ. And I'm going to assume it's one of two things if not both, first off it was confirmed by Cod updates that autox, sprinting bug which interrupts your attempt to reload, that has to get fixed through an actual patch you download, it can't be resolved through a hot fix for whatever reason so I'm going to assume that's what the patch is according to PlayStation size and it should be going out likely maybe this Wednesday or Thursday whenever patch notes do end up dropping it's kind of interchangeable patch notes sometimes drop on Wednesday sometimes Thursdays, you guys know the deal with that but I'm also assuming there's huge possibilities here that some details about the Black Ops 6 reveal event could be found within this patch I talked more about that reveal event in a previous article from yesterday.
That event may be releasing before the start of season 4 on May 29th, and obviously much before the Xbox Showcase Event, which is June 9th, so be on the lookout in the case that the usual data Miners and leakers do Post spoilers over on Twitter or Reddit. Be very careful with that. I'll be carefully and safely covering whatever gets found here on the channel.
Early trailer for voltage event
The trailer also went live today for the season reloaded update. I'm not sure why it's not called the season 3 Reloaded update for War Zone Mobile. I'll talk more about this in a separate article, but in the trailer, we get a nice look at this ghost skin.
We got an M4 blueprint, and there's also a blueprint coming for the castoff. I'm assuming some of those cosmetics are going to be through the new keep the releases later this week. I'm not sure why the reloaded update for mobile got delayed by a week. I don't know if they're going to do that every time there's a new season or mid-season for the mainline Cod series, but the reason I bring this up is because I did make a separate article a few days ago talking about that animated lightning camo, which I believe could be tied to this event, and I'm crossing my fingers.
The other cosmetics we saw in this trailer do transfer to MW3 in War Zone; there would be significantly more interest in this event if that were the case, but that animated lightning camo looks phenomenal. And what are the odds? There's a lightning event starting in Rebirth on mobile, and there's a lightning camo that exists for the main console and PC, so maybe there's a connection here and you can earn that camo for use in all games at some point.
I'm crossing my fingers for that nonetheless.
Uav event tab update & trailer
But as of right now, you can see the new in-game event update for MW3 in War Zone. Through the new event tab, you can see the Call of Duty Endowment: You Assist Veterans event. As it says, by completing challenges to help support military appreciation month, US and UK military veterans will be helped navigate their career paths while players earn rewards.
Activision just donated $2.5 million. To this cost to help veterans get employed, which is phenomenal, and there was a small trailer that released the other day that kind of got swept under the rug because there was so much marketing for reloaded and then Black Ops 6 got leaked, so yeah, there's a small trailer that came out; it's not actual in-game footage but a cool promotion for the event, which does start later this week and will last until May 22nd.
So that's going to be a week before the release of season 4, when this event ends, so it's unclear if this is the only event of the mid-season.
New knight recon endowment pack
I think that is probably the case, but Although the event is not an XP-focused one, a new bundle has been released as of today that is tied to the UAV event, so as per usual with any endowment bundle, 100% of the proceeds from this pack will go to the Call of Duty endowment fund.
This pack does come with the ve vigilance blueprint, the silent Siege Sniper blueprint, an emblem decal sticker, a charm, a calling card, and lastly, we have the vanish operator skin for warriors. I believe this is the second Warrior skin in the game. A short trailer was also released earlier this afternoon showcasing this new pack, and it's a really cool-looking operator skin.
To be honest with you, we've gotten a first look at this skin through various blog post images and in recent trailers, but the skin looks pretty impressive. I love the eyepiece. And yeah, we talked about this skin a little bit in some older articles back during the beginning of season 3 Reloaded, but either way, this is a really cool pack to help support the Cod endowment, and it is tied to the brand new UAV event. Now, what's interesting is that earlier this afternoon, leaker Reality UK over on Twitter did go ahead and post all the challenges for the UAV event, and this event does work similar to the blaze-up one that we got for the 420 collaboration, which means you can actually do these challenges in either multiplayer war zone or zombies, so jumping right into it, we have an animated calling card called Eyes in the Sky.
All uav event challenges & rewards
You have the option of deploying UAV kill streaks over in multiplayer, destroying five counter UAVs in mercenary camps through MW zombies, or deploying 10 UAV kill streaks within the war zone. You only have to do one of those challenges to unlock this animated reward. Moving on to the ultimate assist animated emblem, you have the option of going ahead and getting 40 operator kill assist, successfully extinguishing 10 times in zombies, or getting 20 operator assistance through the war zone next up the autonomous Advantage large decal: you have to deploy 10 mosquito drone kill streaks in multiplayer, open 60 caches over in zombies, or deploy 20 bomb drone kill streaks within the war zone.
