Intro
In today's article, as you can tell from the thumbnail and title. I gave you guys my top five SMG loadouts for Warzone 2 season 2, and just like normal. I'm going to go through and showcase my top five favorite meta loadouts for the SMG category and tell you guys exactly what you should be running right now in the current game that we have.
I have my top five SMGs.
Vaznev-9k
I've really been loving the lockman sub, aka the MP5, but as of recently I've really switched over to the vasnet, and it feels absolutely incredible, so of course let me get you guys the class setup real quick for the muzzle. I'm running the Brewing pendulum compensator, giving you even more vertical and horizontal recoil control, which makes this vasnav an absolute beam and really lets me beam people at any range I need to.
I have the FSS OLED laser, which makes it as fast as it possibly can, giving it 80s speed aiming, stability, and Sprint to fire speed. And of course, you guys probably could have guessed it, but for my rear grip I have the true tag grip, giving me even more sprint to fire speed and ADS speed, again speeding up in every possible way, just making it to the point where you are so incredibly fast and snappy, and then of course for the last attachment it's fully self-explanatory.
I have the 45-round magazine set to "increased capacity." That magazine capacity means this is where you are reloading. After every single kill for the tuning on the muzzle on the left side. I left it at zero, and for the bottom, we went to gun kick control for the laser, like I keep telling you guys over and over we're going for speed, so I do different sprints to fire speed and ads, speed for the stock.
I did ads speed and aim walking speed, and of course for the rear group I added ads speed and sprint to fire speed again, but overall that is my full build for the Basin of 9k in Warzone 2 season 2. In my opinion, it is one of the best guns in the entire game, and if you guys didn't see my fully in-depth Vasnet article.
And honestly, it almost feels better in the new season, so of course if you guys have not already gone. All further Ado stops directly into SMG.
Lachmann sub
Number two is the lockments, aka the MP5, and like I was saying while I was showcasing the Vasnav, I've been really loving this MP5 recently. It just feels absolutely incredible, probably some of the best mobility out of all the SMGs, and of course some of the best damage as well.
I have the XRK Sandstorm, which is my all-time favorite. You can run this or the brewing pendulum, all of which make you a beam either way, but this gives you even more vertical recoil control, making it to the point where you barely have to control it. And of course, like I said with the Vasnav, it's going to be very common across all the builds.
But I have another laser. I have the VLK LZR70. You got even more ads, speed aiming stability, and Sprint to fire speed again, making you so much faster on the map but also more accurate for the stock. I have the mirror recoil 56 factory stock, giving you even more aiming stability mixing in perfectly with the laser recoil, control mixing in perfectly with the sandstorm, and of course that Sprint speed is making you way faster on the map.
For the rear grip. I have the Lockerman TC-G10, which mixes in perfectly with the stock, giving you even more recoil and control and making it so you could beam people at any distance you needed to, and then of course I have the 40-round mag on, but this is always a personal preference. You can run the 40-round mag or the 50-round mag; it all comes down to what you want to run on your MP5, but for me, with the 40-round mag.
I like the little extra bit of mobility for the compensator. I tuned it a little bit for recoil stabilization and a little bit for gun kick control for the laser, and of course I did Sprint to fire speed and ads speed for the stock. I tuned for ads speed and aim walking speed and for the rear grip just like normal tuning, for ads speed and Sprint to fire speed again, but overall that is my full build for the lockerman sub SMG and Warzone 2 season 2.
Right there with the Vasnet for one of the best SMGs in the entire game, if you guys for some reason haven't tried the MP5 out, you are completely missing out, so absolutely get it leveled up and give the full Bill a try item.
Fennec-45
Stop directly into loadout number three, which is of course the Finnick 45, which actually did catch a NERF with the season 2 update but it's still absolutely fantastic, so I'm not going to waste much time and let's hop directly into the loadout. It's the same Finnick build as usual, so for the underbelly I have the FSS shark fin 90, giving you even more stability, which is one of the big reasons why even with the fire rates that the Finnick has, this build is somewhat controllable.
Of course, just like the other two builds. I have the vlk lzr, 7MW. Laser, giving you the same pros and cons of the ads speed aiming, stability, and sprint to fire speed like I've said over and over, making you way faster but also making it more accurate as well, and then, like I've always run on the Finnick.
I have the f-tech. Loctite, stock, and even more crouch movement speed ads, speed, and sprint speed make you faster in every possible way, no matter what you have to do across the map for the rear grip. I have the Finnick rubber grip, which gives you even more sprints of fire speed and ad speed. So you need to toss on the Finnick mag 45 to increase its capacity so you don't have to reload after every single kill for the tuning on the under Braille.

Like I said, it's the exact same build I've always ran on this thing, and even though it caught a NERF with the update, it's still absolutely disgusting. And honestly, it could still contend for the top spot on the list. Still, it all comes down to personal preference; honestly, if you like this more than the Fast Net and you like this more than the Vasnab, you know what I'm saying.

So let's hop directly into SMG number four , something a little bit new for my top 5 SMG list. I actually have the PDW, the AK, and the P9. I don't know exactly what they did to it; they might have buffing it, but the damage it does to the mobility The recoil is absolutely necessary. Of course, I've had it on every single SMG so far.
