News - They Buffed The Sa-b 50 Again. Warzone 2 Season 6 Weapon Changes
It's going to be much easier to get a one-shot kill, and they also added a very tiny damage range from about 24 M up to about 28 M, and in this range, we can still get a one-shot kill to the upper torso, neck, and head, which effectively increases our one-shot kill potential with this gun. So overall, another set of very noticeable buffs to the Lockwood Mark It seems like they're really trying to make this thing a beast of a sniper, and while I thought the previous buffs were more than generous, they buffed it even more.
Sa-b 50 buffs
On that note, we saw the same thing with the sa50, which in my opinion was already one of the best one-shot kill weapons in the entire game, if not the best in the entire game throughout most of the life cycle of Modern Warfare 2, but they buffed it in the previous update, and they buffed it again here in season 6.
The first thing they did was slightly increase our maximum one-shot kill potential out to about 52 1/2 M, and on top of this, our aim down sight time is now a little bit faster at about 275 milliseconds, and our sprint out time is very noticeably faster at 220 milliseconds for our standard sprint out time.
Honestly. I was scratching my head when I saw that they buffed this in the previous update, and now I'm just absolutely blown away that they decided to buff it once more, but the sa50 is even more powerful after season 6, and on top of that, we also saw another buff to the spr 208.
Sp-r 208 buffs
Admittedly, I do think it's still a little bit behind the SA B50, but it's still an excellent quick-spotting style Marksman rifle if you're running around getting those easy one-shot kills.
With this, we just saw a buff to our maximum damage range, so this is the range at which we can get a one-shot kill anywhere to the upper torso as well as shoulders with the spr, so that's going to make it just a little bit more consistent, but this buff isn't nearly as noticeable as the buff to the sc50. As well as the Lockwood Mark II.
Wrap up
And with that, that's finally going to wrap it up for all of the weapon balancing that took place in season 6. There are definitely a lot of changes in this one. I would say the big standouts here are going to be the Minick as well as the expedite 12. I don't know why they keep buffing them or what metrics are showing that these guns are underperforming.
