In the next 6 to 8 months, whenever the finals take place, it's also really interesting, and something that I didn't expect is the fact that the hardpoint rotations during rank play have already leaked out, and it looks like rank play is going to support the following MP maps: terminal Karachi, subbase skidrow, and even invasion.

Now, it's obviously possible that over the next couple of months they will add maps to that rotation, remove some, and add some others. It's the first time we're actually seeing MW2.

What about cheaters in mw3 ranked??

I mean, the thing is, Ricochet is only getting better over time. As I mentioned in the podcast recently, Ricochet constantly has to adapt to all the new cheats and exploits that do get created and do get discovered, so it's always a learning process, right? Ricochet could be caught up on all the possible cheats that exist in the world, and then a month later or a season later, a bunch of new ones come out, and it takes another couple of weeks, if not months, to adapt to that issue overall.

I would certainly hope and actually expect that with the launch of rank with MW3 season 1, it's not going to be that big of an issue hacker-wise like we saw towards the later half of MW 2's ranked play. I'm sure Ricochet has now learned what all those cheats were during that cycle, but yeah, over the course of 2024.

I'm sure there'll be instances where you get some cheaters being really weird. The losers who, just for some reason, decide to pay full price for the game will probably get banned. Then they do it all over again on a different account. You're likely still going to see that at some point, but hopefully it'll be much less severe than what we saw in MW2.
